My experience did not start of well in that I think the original estate agent overvalued the property and made assurances that did not come to around, which led to a massive reduction in the sale the price. I appreciate the market changed in the last 6 months, however the change did not account for the movement in selling price and the amount the estate agent confirmed it they could sell for. However later in the process, I found Lauren to be fantastic. She kept me updated throughout the process and went the extra mile to achieve get the sale. She was also diligent in ensure the lead time from agreed sale to completion was kept to a minimum (2 months!!!)

Overall really good experience with Oulsnam, would like to thank Lisa and the team for their efforts through what turned out to be quite a difficult and drawn out sale. Despite this Lisa especially kept me updated well throughout and chased up people where necessary, and was quick to try to resolve any issues, as well as being very useful in the initial stages with getting me the price I wanted and a little extra! Unhelpful and obstructive when it comes to viewing properties. Despite leaving multiple messages and talking to staff they don't call you back about properties you have enquired about. If they do offer you a viewing there is no flexibility in times. Either take the slot they offer or don't view it. If the property has lots of interest they take the attitude that they are going to get an offer and sell it so don't care if you are interested or not. When it comes to selling a property I would choose an agent based on how they treat you as a buyer. My experience with Oulsnams says they have lost my business.

Time wasters.

After initial consultation about sale of my house, the manager never called, nor emailed me in two weeks. I called, left messages, no call back. In my opinion, this is not a great service, its disrespectful. I would never recommend this agents to anyone, its a waist of your time!

Vendors beware. Currently house hunting in Moseley. in a good position with no chain and mortgage in principle. Found a house. Put a starting offer in (7.5% below asking price). No response. Three days later chased up. Offer was declined as expected. No attempt was made to negotiate my offer up or make a counter offer on behalf of the vendor. Wrote back to say that I would be interested in hearing a counter offer from the vendor. No reply to my email. Not even an acknowledgement. Someone else in my office asked for specifics on another house via Zoopla website. Literally no response. On the upside have had no problems arranging viewings, and lady doing these was pleasant. Would give them another half star for that if I could.
