Be warned! I would never recommend them as a tenant. They seem to acquire Landlords of poor quality. They are sloppy in their admin; taking on property with lots of issues, missing rad controls, damp, doggy electrics, lost tokens etc etc

Belvoir lettings where fine when we rented the property but once we ended the tenancy and moved out belvoir refused to give us our deposit back. They charged us £320 for carpets to be cleaned and the property to be cleaned even though it was thoroughly done upon moving out. They then decided that the landlord could keep the remainder of the deposit for work that supposedly needed doing. They said the back door was damaged even though I had reported the door was in a poor state for over a year. I have ended up not getting a penny back but I’m not surprised as they have a reputation of not issuing a return of the deposit. On our many visits from Julie from belvoir she commented every time how it was nice that the property was being looked after. Our landlord thinks about nothing but money he does no maintenance to the property. Really not impressed with belvoir whatsoever if you rent with these don’t expect your deposit back as it won’t happen. Please think twice about using belvoir as there are better letting agents out there. The photos are of the property when we vacated as you can see it’s not really unacceptable like they claimed over £600 lost thanks belvoir.

Hi Steven, I am sorry that you are not happy with the deductions requested at the end of the tenancy. There is a robust independent arbitration process available from the tenancy deposit schemes where they will look at the evidence from the pictures before you moved in and the pictures at the move out. They will also ask for quotations and invoices from the landlords to support their request for monies from the deposit. Nothing is returned to the landlord or tenant until the arbitration process is completed. If you would like any help with starting the process and how to submit your evidence please let me know. Don't bother, will try and fleece you of your original deposit. Definitely go somewhere else if you are wanting to rent

Hi Alex, I am sorry to read you are disappointed with the service you have received. All of the tenants deposits are registered with the tenancy deposit scheme Mydeposits. I can not see any dispute logged with your name? The tenancy deposit scheme independently arbitrates over any deductions that are not agreed between the tenants and landlords. Totally ripped us off saying we had to pay for professional cleaners in after we cleaned the place spotless after we left.We also complained about a dangerous shed that was about to collapse but didn't ever here anything back from them.Not good.😡 …

Belvoir lettings is only interested to take your money, once you finish your tenencey they drag their heels to refund the deposit. STAY AWAY from them. They don’t care for tennent only your money.

Renting - everything it's nice when you move in, but when you need something to be repaired or when you vacate the property and need to get you're deposit back - it's a different story. It was a million better with a private landlord - from my experience ;)

Inappropriate tenants that are not managed. Property left in a shocking state after tenants moved out. Departments do not work together.

The company ruined my life. When I came back my house was destroyed by a single parent and her trib of kids. And when I asked for compensation they said take us to court. I moved back two years ago and I'm still rebuilding the damage. Financial they ruined me I have had 3 jobs just to keep a roof over my head. Worst company I have ever dealt with and I was paying them and trusting they with my property.

Polite and full of good intentions but my house was left in a terrible state. The tenants refused to leave when I came to look at it after a period of belvoir ''managing" the property and was shocked at how I found it. Numerous cigarette ends found in the attic (non smoking tenant apparently according to the references) and these were balanced on an ash tray next to the insulation (!), garden left to ruin and rest of the house was in a state that was not rentable again until it had been gutted. Numerous court letters for unpaid rent and damage were all dealt with by belvoir but I felt that if they'd have managed it properly in the first place, none of this would have happened. I ended up losing money overall and felt that, whilst the tennants were in the house, belvoir did the bare minimum and happily pocketed the money from me for managing it. Tenants were far from ideal and this could happen to anyone but how they never picked up on the deterioration was beyond me. Feedback I had was always so positive, the reality was far from it.
