Forced me and my girlfriend to continue with a contract even though my girlfriend had been stabbed and didnt want to live in the area anymore. As the attackers family, who live nearby, were making more threats. We signed it a few days before, and hadnt even moved in, but still they forced us anyway. Threatening us with legal action, keeping our down payment and having to pay rent for a place we wernt living in. They didnt explain anything about the legal side of the contract beforehand (this was our first home so it was all new to us), and still havent given us access to our tenancy agreement so we can see what we have agreed too. We did read it before we signed it of course, but obviously we didnt expect to be pulling out of it or remember it word for word. Really cold and greedy company. Would not recommend.

Terrible service when I sold my flat. They failed to put vital details in the paper work which delayed the sale by months. Even when I complained and chased them they only updated my solicitors by phone and not in writing like I asked. This meant another delay because the buyers solicitors wanted every thing in black and white. In total I went 4k in debt due to the delays. I rent a house through them and so far I have waited 11 months for some one to even come and look at the shower. It needs replacing desperately and I'm sick of chasing them. The guy only came out last Thursday to look at it. I doubt I'll ever get a new one at this rate. Ferndowns are the worst estate agents I've ever had to deal with.

Unreasonably

I was a tenant with Ferndown estates and felt robbed due to their unreasonable referencing fees. Even after moving out of the property, for referencing to my next letting agent they charged 30 pounds. The service provided is just average as well

The worst estate agent I have ever encountered in over 40 years. Their inability to communicate, and to act to control their element of the chain, led to its collapse. They will be barred from ever being involved in any future house chain I am involved in.

The guy started making notes for refurbishment costs (presumably for a joke rock bottom offer for this agency to buy up at a low price, then tart up to sell at full market value lol).
