Despicable immoral company. They rip off BOTH the tenants and landlords. Impossible to speak to a representative unless it's a scenario where they require more money and only then will they allow you to make contact. I actually went into office but they were only interested when they thought I was a new commission, as soon as they know you're not it's the same old story "they will get in touch soon" I'm still waiting for them to get in touch from october and i've tried to make contact MANY times since. For your mental and financial health avoid at all costs. Avoid Avoid AVOID.

EDIT Belvoir reached out to me to my personal phone and email (they didnt even bother to spell my name correctly) to ask me about my experience. Here is what I replied. "We were shown the property by someone who wasn't able to answer a single question. I was told I'd be called the next day after I said I wanted to make an offer. That didn't happen. I called the next day and no response. I showed up to the office minutes later and the whole team was idle, just chatting. Did you not hear the phone? The back an forth took literally forever and whenever you'd tell me I'd get an answer by X date, I never heard from you, I had to call you to chase you. We manage to get the offer accepted, not thanks to you, but despite you. After discussing with my husband the experience, we decided that we did not trust you to take us through completion effectively. We would have loved to buy the house. But it was the experience you and your team provided that put us off. If it wasn't for you, the house would be off the market already, so I thought the seller should know this." ORIGINAL REVIEW Hey! If you're the seller for the 3-bed house in Ancoats, know that we withdrew our offer in July because Belvoir are just terrible at responding and we did not feel like they'd facilitate the process. I know you're still selling it. I strongly advise you to change agency.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience with Belvoir. We genuinely appreciate your honesty and regret that your interaction with us did not meet your expectations. Firstly, please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by misspelling your name in our communication. This oversight does not reflect the level of professionalism we strive to maintain, and we understand the importance of attention to detail. We appreciate the chance to address your concerns and provide additional context to your experience. To begin, we'd like to clarify that we promptly communicated your offer to the vendor. During this process, we discussed both your specific situation and the reasons behind the offer being below the asking price. Following negotiations, the vendor considered your comments and ultimately accepted your offer. We were pleased to reach an agreement that satisfied both parties. However, we noted that, after the acceptance of your offer, we encountered difficulties in reaching you. After three days of unsuccessful attempts, you reached out to inform us that you had already paid a holding fee on a new build property and decided to proceed with that purchase. We acknowledge that circumstances can change, and we respect your decision to pursue an alternative property. Nonetheless, we emphasize the importance of clear and timely communication to ensure a smooth and transparent process for all involved parties. It's crucial to mention that the vendor is fully aware of why the property remains on the market. In brief, the property is currently tenanted, and we adhere to the terms of the tenancy agreement by scheduling viewings at dates and times convenient for the tenants. This aspect contributes to the property's continued availability, and we remain committed to facilitating a transparent and tenant-friendly process. We apologise for any miscommunication or inconvenience you may have experienced during this process. Your feedback is valuable, and we intend to use it to enhance our services and communication in the future. Should you have any additional concerns or wish to delve into this matter further, please don't hesitate to reach out directly to our office.

Really poor service. Never kept updated, had to constantly chase, given up in the end.

So disrespectful! We had a viewing I was there with an infant in a cold weather for 15 minutes on time they just left the building without letting me know! This is disgusting when you find your client you ignore others disrespectfully! Even one star is a lot for you.

Went to a viewing and the property was in disrepair, unhygienic, and falling apart. The company clearly have no standards and enjoy wasting the time of all people involved in the letting process. Maybe find a new business model or just give up altogether?

This is an updated review.. In the past I thought it was alright. Now I think that it's alright only if you don't need anything as tenant. If you need absolutely ANYTHING, be prepared for a bunch of hussle and unfair negotiations. Although most employees are helpful and polite there are a couple of people in the city center offices that are as rude as they come. They DEFINITELY care about getting their money at the end of the month though. Never again with Belvoir - after being with them for almost 6 years, would highly NOT recommend.

Poor communication. Booked a viewing last Thursday and my friend (co tenant) went the viewing on my behalf. After that , straight away apply with the property. Our combined household income is way already meet the financial requirements. Even my friend who will start the role soon, he already has his guarantor whereas I do not need any guarantor as I have already being employed for long time. After applied the property straight away, no updates and chased them once. Then I called them only to know that the property is already being taken. At least, get back to everyone who went the viewing so that I won't waste everyone's time and hope. Even, there is another property as well. Booked for viewing only to know that it got cancel last minute, just because it got taken whereas in the website, it still says available, it makes everyone confused! I feel like it is not fair. You should organise everything how it works starting from the viewing , up to the application process next time. I wish I could give a no star at all but since I am about to give a review, I will give this one star.
