They have been very responsive to emails and the referencing process was not as administratively complex as it has been in the past.

As a first time buyer I'd already had a number of negative experiences working with estate agents when I came across a flat in Hackney being marketed by Location Location - fortunately LL were engaged and good to work with throughout the whole process.
