INCOMPETENT - the are a disaster.

INCOMPETENT - the are a disaster. They get everything wrong and no one cares. One of our tenants left not to work with them. We were silly and continued for another year with different tenants. We had a "all included" contract with them, the best they are supposed to offer. They got all the check out wrong, the check in wrong, we couldn't claim any deposit from the previous person because of them, the professional cleaning was a joke and had to do it twice (we paid), they lost the keys, tenants ended up in a hotel, during the tenancy they asked us to pay the same thing multiple times and chased saying we hadn't paid, never did the quarterly check ups that they are supposed to do, never passed any requests from the tenants to us, they lost the deposit when the tenancy ended... and none of them care. They are flippant and couldn't care less about customer service. I'd be ashamed to work somewhere like this. They don't deserve 1 star but I cannot give less

Doesn't care about Edmonton or who it houses all about the money that it disgraceful get these homes up to standard and the people in them !!!

I can assure you that we do care about placing good tenants in to our landlords properties . Firstly because anti social or nuisance tenants usually in our experience become non paying tenants which our landlords are not happy about . Secondly the better the tenants the less problems and time they take up to deal with . We really do not want bad tenants . They are a problem for all including the neighbours . If there are issues we always try to address these but unfortunately sometimes this takes time and is beyond our means . Rest assured we will always try to deal with these issues .Apologies for the issues you have had .

These guys need to sort themselves out. The tenant has finally gone from my partners property no thanks to you leaving it dirty and damaged. Kings are holding the deposit, we are hoping, and the member of staff 'dealing' with it has gone on leave for 11 days. In the meantime he has a damaged and empty flat! A series of c@@k ups from the moment contracts were signed......deffo do not recommend this company.

Dear Vikki I can confirm a member of the property management department is on holiday until 11th July, however her out of office does state to contact the team in her absence. We have looked into this and have no record being contacted on this particular poit by either yourself or your partner until this tweet. Our repairs department supervisor, Katie Pugh is aware of your claim from the damage deposit and is taking action to be able to advise you of the next steps. For clarity we do not hold the deposit . Deposits are held under a legally backed redress system for disputes and we are following this lawful process. We realise this can be frustrating for all concerned but and take time . Absolute nonchalant attitude towards landlords. They take their commission immediately at the start of a tenancy then don't care at all when rent is not paid. They can't even serve Section 21 Notice correctly on the tenant. One of the staff members even gave incorrect advice regarding landlords insurance. Nearly cost me loads of money if I had not done my own research! What's more, they had spare keys cut, charged me for them and when tenant couldn't get in King's turned up and said that the keys they had were 'faulty' and tried to get me to pay for a locksmith. Avoid at all costs.

Yep they seem devoid of basic legal knowledge - Eg . a low EPC rating means that a BTL investor cant get a mortgage on a property. The Section 21 is about to be abolished - basic knowledge in the property world, you would have thought so!

If you're ever in the position where your agent attempts to sell your house to an un-mortgageable buyer and no one notices until after you have exchanged contracts (on both sides of your chain), you're then involved in months worth of legal issues, King Group WILL try to charge you their commission.. Change your contract wording to state commission becomes payable upon completion, not on exchange of contracts. Even though my contract was amended to state 'no sale, no fee' they are still perusing their fee. I have now had to instruct a solicitor to try and uphold our contract. Formal complaints have been submitted, complaints will also be submitted to The Property Ombudsman and the National Association of Estate Agents.

Be carefuk with this letting agency if you have a chance dont involve as they flirt with you so nice once you sign a contract you start getting rude replys hang up on the phone besides that they lie and never do anything for you, you have been warned its up to you to decide.

Totally terrible company. Asking for proof of people's Bank balance. How dare you. You are only a sales agent. Then all the lies and rudeness of the upperty agents . You really need to be curtailed. It's time the government did something about this rude out of control money grabbing fear mongering industry.

Putting up Sold signs outside properties that have NOT been sold!!! Called the Edmonton Agency last week to ask them to take down the sign outside my property and its still there 4days later. You are trying to look popular & successful in selling properties when this is not true. If your company is capable of doing this then you are not to be trusted.

Dear Consumer, The property this refers to was a First Floor Flat that we had managed to secure a sale on. Unfortunately due to regulations the board needed to be erected on the ground level. I can only apologise for any unavoidable inconvenience this may have caused at the time.
