If I can give 0 star, I would definitely do it. First of all everything was perfect when me and my friends were renting a 3 bedroom flat through JLL with Eilis, after 6 months we needed to leave the city because of an emergency, they told us that we need to pay extraordinary amounts which was not stated on the contract at all. However we were just waiting for them to update us after we left the flat and they have mentioned that we need to pay the rent for another 1 year because we were leaving early…. after we left they kept our deposit for 5 months by telling us we will release it next monday, saying this every week for last 2 months. Fatima Khaan tried every way to not to give the deposit back and other financial departmens were asking for 1 year rent because we left early, which was not stated on the conract at all. On top of that they forced us to pay 1 extra day of rent which we didnt stay in the property on that day. we gave the keys to the letting agency before the final day but they took the money from us anyway. If you want to have headache and problems, rent your flat through JLL Startford. I also have rented a flat JLL Canary Wharf, but there was no issues at all like this. Long story short stay away from JLL stratford. Hopefully Eilis can move to another branch or company…. I forgot to mention they deducted 2000 pounds from our current deposit that we have already called the professional deep cleaning service and paid 400 pounds for them that they stated there was no cleaning at all in the flat and to the minor damages they charged us major amounts

Abida just never replies or confirm. Even after I paid large amount of whole year rent or deposit, this working attitude is very unacceptable. Not sure if she is that busy to just reply the client for a sentence or what?...

If I could, I would give less than 1 star. We are without hot water nor heating for the past 2 months and an half. No empathy and no customer service skills. Back and forth of emails, but the matter has not been fixed. It's a shame that people are living like this during the coldest winder. After almost a year, they don't even answer our emails. Our dishwasher never worked. Terrible agency

Pathetic excuse of an estate agents. Called for a viewing in Stratford and I had to chase them, then they said they needed 24 hours notice but I had already called prior to this timeframe to book it. The guy also told me to ‘call back once I have sorted out my schedule’ when I said I’m only available Saturdays for a viewing, and kept pressuring me to do a weekday viewing when me and my partner can’t get any time off work at the moment and we aren’t close to Stratford. I was very clear on my availability. So, no viewings have been booked because JLL are inflexible and inconsiderate. Very rude guy.

I seldom write reviews, but my experience with this letting agent has been so frustrating that I felt compelled to share it. When I was initially searching for a rental property, they were incredibly responsive and seemed eager to help. Unfortunately, their professionalism and attentiveness disappeared as soon as I signed the lease and handed over my hard-earned money. The first red flag appeared when I noticed issues with the property that needed immediate attention. I reached out to the agent multiple times, through phone calls and emails, but was met with radio silence. After several attempts, they finally responded with vague promises of addressing the issues and took them months to address the issue (all the furniture for the flat) . It's extremely disappointing to see such a lack of care and responsibility from a supposedly reputable letting agent. On top of their unresponsiveness, their customer service is abysmal. Trying to get hold of them once you live there is next to impossible. I've emailed the same person from a new email stating I am interested in a property and get a prompt reply when my emails as a tenant get ignored for months. It's clear that their priority is securing new tenants, not ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of their current ones. If you're considering renting a property through this letting agent, I implore you to look elsewhere. Their lack of communication and professionalism is beyond disappointing and makes for an unnecessarily stressful renting experience. Save yourself the headache and find an agent who values your time and money.

Unfortunately a typical example of an estate agent seen in the UK. Expect to get delayed responses unless it relates to raising rent and deposits to be withheld unless disputed.

The worst real estate agency ever. Once they are paid, you can not reach them. I should have received my over paid rent refund on 13th Dec, today is 9th Jan and they are keep saying 'it is in process'.

Terrible experience with JLL. JLL sounded like a promising agent at the beginning, but I really recommend every international students or people who's not from uk avoid this sneaky agent. They look like legit company, but everyone behind just want to take all the money from you. I ended my tenancy end of August, and my property manager plus the landlord is being super unresponsive about returning the deposit back to me. Landlord send us the deduction comments and trying to deduct us 1,190 pounds. Landlord giving us ridiculous comments about the deductions, saying the apartment was not professionally cleaned but it was, and we send proofs of payment from the company. Saying there are missing items, but they didn't check properly from the check out report, which they are in there. Damage items which it was not our fault, it was the water leakage problem that we already told Mohammed which was our old manager about it. And that was never in the notes. Landlord only respond to us one time only in three months.Our property manager told us both parties needs to agree, so we understand but three months still not got back from landlord. Now, I will have lawyer involved, to have my rights back.
