Following an abrupt and quite shocking phone call from this office manager, well call him P. So, What I am assuming was meant to be a 'quick update' phone call about a question I had left on the answer machine.. turned into a heated conversation about the 1 start review I had left on Google and nothing to do with the property at all... Rather childish and petty I may add too. Adding several mentions about HIS rating, asking me to change my star rating to what I think is appropriate... soo... since this is a public forum and I have the right to my own opinion, I have decided to comment and leave a review and leave his start rating at 1.. but to comment and share my experience. First of all light harassment and bullying comes to mind. But that's just my opinion.. This office and who it is run by lacks appropriate communication skills and most importantly customer service skills regardless of if you are a tenant or a landlord. Arrogant and rude when it comes to telephone manners and it's as if they have better things to be doing then answering your customer queries or issues you may have( if they answer the phone that is). But pop into the store and they are as nice as pie to your face.. makes you wonder what's actually going on..!
I'm deeply disappointed with JLL. I rented a property at Riverlight 3 through them a year ago and vacated it in September this year. However, it has been three months since I moved out, and my security deposit has not been returned. Despite numerous attempts to communicate, they have been evasive and uncooperative. Every time I manage to contact someone, they conveniently claim that the person I need to speak to is on vacation.The last time they promised to process the refund, they said they needed to confirm the amount with the landlord, and then they vanished once again without a response. If they continue to withhold my deposit, I will not hesitate to take legal action.
Absolutely horrific company. I rented a property for a year from them and it was in a shocking state when I moved in- filthy dirty, lots of things were broken including the washing machine and the only toilet. Throughout the whole 12 month contract these things were never sorted and I was just fobbed off by everyone and nobody cared one bit about my kids and my safety and just wanted their extortionate rent each month. I had to clean, fix and redecorate everything myself and pay for it all. Disgraceful and extremely rude.
The staff act in the first that they are very helpful and will help you in every thing! As soon as you pay, you will find yourself alone. No single help, delay answering messages and no response to any calls.

Cannot contact them by phone because no answer and they do not get back to you in regards to viewings.. Poor service
Unfortunately, my husband and I had a very bad experience with this agency when we were looking to rent an apartment in Canterbury just recently. We had to deal with it several times, and for some reason the only agent to pick up the phone and reply to our enquiries was Danny, who is responsible for our bad experience with the company. Among his many achievements are as follows: - ignoring our preferences and trying to show some properties we weren't really interested in; - not letting us know that some viewings had been cancelled; Once we called him in the morning to confirm the viewings only to hear that none of the three of them that were supposed to take place on that day would actually take place. It should be noted that we had told him we were staying in London and had to drive to Canterbury for viewings. - moving the viewings to a different day a few hours before that; - making mistakes with the time of viewings; - simply not calling back about a property we were interested in, which resulted in us not even looking at it. I understand that the property market in Canterbury this year is incredibly complicated, and agents have a lot of work to do, but I really don't think that clients should be the ones to suffer. We ended up working with a different estate agency that turned out to be incomparably more professional and respectful towards their clients. I hope we will never have to work with Mann in the future and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Unfortunately had to change my review! We rented a flat September 2019-August 2020 in Canterbury. Everything was smooth and Joe from Mann was very helpful getting us a flat, however we were only told by Mann that the flat had a slight mould problem after we had signed and moved in. Little did we know, the flat and all flats above and opposite had SEVERE mould problems. I developed asthma and an eye issue throughout that year and my lungs still aren't the same now. I told Mann about this problem and they said "don't worry you won't be blamed for mould" after I told them I couldn't breathe. No support from them at all when I told them the landlords wouldn't help the mould problem. Very disappointed with Mann. (Flat was in Bingley Court and I've heard most flats on the river side have mould issues now).
