It's strange because whenever I have had dealings with this estate agent, it's always been very helpful women who have managed everything. including negotiations and final sales... However the (too) regular flyers everyone in Chorlton receives, only ever depict 2/3 men running the show. It comes across as quite arrogant and definitely puts me off using this agent.

We had a number of issues during this sale process. 1. We felt the property was over valued by Mundys, by £10k leading to a loss of sale during the first weekend of viewings from a no chain cash purchaser. As a result it took another 6 months to sell the property at a reduction of £5k from the initial offer incurring significant additional costs and losses of circa £7k. 3. We had problems on two occasions with Mundys staff using the toilet which we then had to clean. We spoke to. Indy’s about this on both occasions. 4. We received complaints directly from the purchasers regarding poor service levels at viewings. This included being rushed with only 15 minutes allowed in the property. Not being able to answer any questions and refusal to pass on our contact details to answer those questions. They concluded that “Mundys in no way helped to sell the property” As a result we arranged a separate viewing with the purchasers and spent over an hour with them at the property to conclude the sale.

Rather worrying reviews.. put in an offer at the asking price, left all day to stew and then told that more viewings are taking place, also offered their in house mortgages first, before my offer was sent to the vendor... have read reviews about how they encourage bidding wars based on what they think you can afford................ I will just have to see. 3 stars because no 'bidding war' has started - but I wonder
