Overseas landlords - Nothing but praise!

My husband & I live in Hong Kong & were in Leeds for 2 days over the Summer looking for an investment property to buy to let. We couldn't have been happier with the professionalism & speed at which Helen worked - she showed us the perfect flat on our first day & only second property so knew exactly what we were looking for & didn't waste our time. Steven's help was much appreciated in finding tenants for our flat & car park space (literally the weekend after the contracts of S&P exchanged) - my husband & I were amazed at how quickly he did it - they moved in the following week paying the full asking rental no questions asked; sending us the background check report before they got he keys. Both were very responsive on emails, friendly & informal which we liked & provided practical answers to our questions. If you're overseas, want to invest in Leeds & looking for a great trusted service I would highly recommend Helen as your primary trusted adviser & manager with Steven as your lettings manager. Couldn't ask for a better agent.

Martin and Co look after two properties in Leeds Center for me and nothing has been to much trouble for them, they took over the properties from another agent I had in the area, and I can not be more pleased. Professional, polite and everything bang on time.

I have been a landlord for several years in Leeds. I found the service to be better and more efficient than the two other agents I previously used. A tenant was found immediately at a very good rental value. The tenant is a professional person. My phone calls and emails were returned promptly. I have been very happy with the service provided to far.

I have owned flats in Leeds since 2003 and at first I used 3 or 4 agents some were better than others but none were totaly satisfactory. I discovered Martin & Co through their York Office, the owner also owned the Leeds branch which is now owned by Elizabeth. I can say without exception all her staff are friendly, polite, efficient and professional. On the rental side I have dealt mainly with Michael who is excellent and now Adam who is also excellent. They let my flats quickly and at a good rent. I cannot praise Khaqan enough who deals with the check in and maintenance issues. Nothing is too much trouble. Although I manage the flats myself, when I am away on holiday, if anything needs attention he steps in and deals with it. Now Emma seems to be doing a similar role to Khaqan and she is also excellent. They keep me informed and provide estimates for any maintenance work so there are no shock invoices. The feed back I get from my tenants is they are very pleased with their service. Although we are already to complain, I think that if you receive service which is exceptional you should also contact the company and let them know. I have spoken to Elizabeth a couple of times to let her know what excellent service her staff provide. I have no hesitation in recommending Martin & Co to prosptive landlords and tenats.
