Rented a house through onwards and upwards and they were great while we were living there, we lived there over 2 years and never had any issues until we moved out. We disagreed with the amount they were trying to take out of our deposit and instead of just communicating and trying to come to some form of agreement, they decided to just ignore our emails, we then went through DPS to see if we could resolve it through them, but they decided to just ignore them too. It took over 2 months for them to reply. They then just give us back the amount we stated, which is great, but if they were just going to agree with us, why could this not have been done as soon as we moved out? Clearly just making us wait because they could. Not a very professional attitude.
If you are fine with having monthly house inspections whilst your not in then look for a property with onwards & upwards. They have keys for your house so they can get in at anytime. If you have a problem within the property their customer service isn't the best and they take weeks to resolve anything. I went almost 2 weeks without heating and hot water. Poor service and the director isn't very helpful either.
