Having simultaneously sold through Hamptons and purchased through Dexters the contrast in professionalism was so stark it almost defied belief. Our agent at Dexters seemed to consider any post-offer involvement an inconvenience. Emails went unresponded, blaming they had gone into her junk and on the rare occasion we did get through, responses ranged from vague to outright unhelpful. At one point we were mistakenly sent the sellers invoice and when we queried it and having to call up, as we heard nothing, were told this is 'normal' , neatly highlighting the fundamental lack of experience and care we experienced throughout. I would encourage any prospective buyer or seller to consider alternatives. Buying or selling a property is already stressful it doesnt need to be added to by a poor estate agent.
