Brilliant service. Happy to have discovered a humble letting's agency showcasing far more than I could have expected.

We were tenants through D&J for two and half years and eventually purchased our property from our landlord, also going through D&J. We could not have asked for better help during both processes. Property (both rental and purchase) is of course an emotive, complicated and expensive thing, and we found that the staff at D&J were professional, sensitive and patient. They perfectly navigated the middle player role that we needed them to be in. Both as tenants and buyers, we felt looked after, whilst we also knew that our landlord/ seller was being treated fairly too. They were balanced and attentive, we could not have asked for more.

I initially met Nathaniel when he came to value our property. He was really friendly, easy going and was honest about what he thought about our house which we appreciated. We met him again a few months later at viewings for other properties. Again, he was really friendly and was a massive help in helping us decide which one was best suited to our needs. Due to unforseen circumstances our sale/purchase took over 7 months to complete. During this time he always called back when I called, text me back straight away and advised when and where needed. He also put me in touch with Jessica Nobel who deals with sales progression. From the first time I spoke to Jess she had the same friendly manner about her that Nathaniel did. She kept me up to date with all the going ons and when I found things too tough to handle she was more than sympathetic and realistic about what may or may not happen. I can not recommend both Nathaniel and Jess highly enough!

Tom Lawrence is the ultimate professional, I can not rate his service highly enough. He is knowledgeable, helpful and patient and always seems to be available to answer questions and give advice. Finley Lawrence is also a fantastic photographer and made our house look amazing in listings. You get a much better service from these guys that the 'big chain' estate agents.

Having already sold a property with Tom Lawrence, we didn't even consider anyone else when it came to moving again five years later. Professional throughout, ever helpful, calming in time of crisis (caused by solicitors, not by anyone at TLC), always friendly, worked with us to get a good sale and, from start to finish, it has been a joy to deal with TLC (as much as buying and selling a house is ever a 'joy').
