When we decided to sell our home in Heywood all the way from New Zealand we wanted someone who would be good with communicating and keeping us fully informed, this is exactly what we got when we decided to sell through Ryder and Dutton (Heywood branch ) Catherine, Rachel and Linda kept us in the loop and was very prompt when we had questions or was unsure of something. They accommodated my mum (who was helping us to sell) and understood her needs. We would highly recommend Ryder and Dutton and we thank Catherine, Rachel and Linda for being patient and understanding and also for helping us to sell our home so quickly. Great job !

Expensive for students. Took 22 days to send out a tenancy agreement (instead of max 14) so pulled out before going ahead with it. Overall nice workers there and had mostly good interactions with staff, just very overpriced and its clear they care more about making the most money over having good conditions in properties (for students at least). When booking viewings for their properties was told we could only book 3 (which has changed to 1 now) and in the ones we viewed there was a lot of mould in 2 of the properties we viewed- and it was just not the best condition considering the amount you are paying for. If you're a student I would recommend looking for different Estate agents if you actually want to get your moneys worth (and save money!)

Overall I was pleased with the service I received from Rachel and Catherine. . I was selling a house without any chain or mortgage to consider. A cash buyer was found very quickly but then the sales process took far longer than I thought it should have done. In part this was because I didn't have all the correct documentation but I felt this should have been noted at the beginning and steps could have been put in place to get the documentation from the start. There should be some sort of checklist to ensure all is in order. Ryder and Dutton have higher fees than other estate agents as they say they will liaise with solicitors and keep you informed of progress. My main complaint with the service was that I didn't find this was the case and only by enquiringly was I informed of what was happening. I found the lack of information quite frustrating.
