Still waiting our Valuation after 3 days. Phone not answered, very bad service, Very salable house. So won't be going with them, there commision loss

Our family had very poor service from the lettings dept at this Estate Agency, In our opinion it is is unfit for purpose. They claim to be “No 1” but No 1 at What? and who decided they were No 1? maybe No 1 for poor service ! They promised our relative they would look after the property if we chose them to let the property out and to also opt for the “fully managed option” at additional charge but their care of the property and regular inspections on our behalf as landlords were just amateurish in the extreme and inept. This is not the estate agency that it once was. ! Our family will have nothing to do with them ever again, using this company cost us and lost us a lot of money! Beware of this company!

We felt as though our offer and revised offer treated with comtempt. Before accepting an offer from a third party they did not give us chance to view.

Bernadette, Kelly, Sarah & Richard are absolutely appalling! The customer service is shocking! I was flat out lied to by Richard, He told me Kelly (Who is supposed to be a manager) Wasn't in the office but I could hear her next to him telling him what to say. I was told I'd receive an apology but I am still waiting. If you are thinking of renting through Verity Frearson - DONT!!!

Only rating 1* because there isn't the option to put 0. I don't have a single good thing to say about this company. How they still have customers is beyond me. I don't even know where to start... We relocated to Harrogate in November 2021. We saw a house to rent online & Decided to put an application in despite not actually viewing the house, Due to needing to move quick so my husband could start his new job. Once everything went through, We got given a date to collect the keys. We set off at 4am, (We relocated 200 miles) With all of our possessions, our 9 month old daughter and 2 dogs to arrive at Verity's for 9am to sign the paperwork & collect the keys. We arrived at new house and had complete disappointment. The house was FILTHY!! Considering we was in a pandemic with restrictions just easing, We could not believe the state. If we hadn't just travelled such a long way, We would of refused to move in. There was urine stains on the toilet, dirty door handles/shower screen, Coffee all down the radiators, Peeled paint/Black mould in the bedroom, 20+ dead flies all over the windowsills, dust everywhere, The fireplaces hadn't been emptied, I could go on. We took pictures and told Verity's straight away... We never had a reply & an apology! During the time here, We had multiple builders at the property (Which we had no idea what for as we was never told) & The problem was also never solved. The black mould in the bedroom was so bad, We could no longer sleep in the room due to my brittle asthma, Again, Verity's knew about this as it was pointed out during the first inspection but nothing ever done. During the months here, Our circumstances changed, My husband got a new job an hour away & Due to the rural location/ All bus routes in the area stopping, I had no way of getting out. Leaving me extremely isolated & depressed. We decided to look to move but became aware we had signed a 3 year fixed contract & Could not move without the landlords consent to terminate. After numerous phonecalls, emails we was getting no where with the company, So we decided to contact the landlord direct & Got released the same day. Surely, As an estate agent, They have a duty of care & Having known, We hadn't viewed the house, didn't know the area & was relocating 200 miles - They should of advised against a 3 year contract! The attitude from the staff has been absolutely horrendous, BERNADETTE, KELLY, SARAH & RICHARD should be out of a job from the way they have spoken to both myself and husband. The amount of times we've been told someone will call us back & 2 weeks later, Still waiting. We wasn't told when new tenants had moved in, when our inspection had been complete or any problems until weeks later & We again, Had to chase for this information and our bond back. I'd advise anyone considering renting from this company to run. Our new estate agents have been nothing but fabulous. The staff are so rude, unprofessional & if the owners heard the way we have been spoke to, they'd all be given their p45's! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Never experienced such appalling service!! No idea on customer service.Walked in and were treated like second rated citizens. We are cash buyers,no chain and eager to go....but we're almost sniggered at! What a disgrace!!

Booked a valuation for my property but had to cancel due to my child having to self isolate, provisionally re- booked for the following week and was told I’d get a call to confirm. No one bothered calling and I’ve given my property to another agent that wants my business.NegativeProfessionalism
