Helped though the daunting process of purchasing our first home. Karl was a pleasure to deal with through the many ups and downs of the process. Thank you

Hi Filipa, Thank you for your review. It's hard to believe you completed on your purchase nearly a year ago, hopefully you've settled in and had a lovely Christmas in your first home together! Regards, Charlie & Karl

I would be very pleased to recommend the team at Godalming. Friendly and approachable throughout the process they were always ready to find out and get back to me with information. Thankyou to all.

I felt the communication after the sale was agreed was poor. I have spoken to the vendor subsequent to moving in and they agree the communication was not good and caused concerns which were needless. Also the board should not still be up weeks after completion and having asked for it to be removed!

Dear Gerard, I am sorry to hear that on this occasion your experience with Burns and Webber was only satisfactory. I do want to thank you for your feedback which we will certainly take in to account for the future. I hope you are starting to settle in to your new home which you did really well to secure. Best wishes, Charlie Simpson - Partner

Let down by staff who seem to think skipping a few corners is okay. Lost me a good buyer who wrote to tell me what happened after they were lied to by several members of staff. Would avoid next time. Edit. No this is definitely for Adam at burns and Webber and whoever the useless woman at head office at Curchods was who said she’d help but didn’t bother. Perhaps your record keeping is as abysmal as your customer service.

Dear Ms Neilson. Having thoroughly reviewed our computer files neither myself, nor any of my colleagues recall ever having spoken to you or had any dealings with you. Could I please request that you contact me directly in order for us to clear this up as I suspect your review may be intended for someone other than us.

Pretty abysmal. Lied about a property and had I not found out the facts myself would never have told me. Would avoid. Edited to add - I have spoken to you numerous times about this including with your head office. I note I failed to receive an apology from the branch itself or an explanation for their dubious behaviour. I’ve had some dealings with estate agents over the years and thought I’d seen it all but dealing with Burns and Webber has been the worst. And that’s really saying something.

I feel compelled to share my recent disheartening experience with Burns and Webber, specifically highlighting my interactions with Jonathan, the Director of the business. My intention is to provide potential customers with insights into the challenges I encountered during the property-selling process, emphasizing the crucial importance of selecting the right agent. My disappointment began when Jonathan, self-proclaimed as the "local expert," provided us with an independent asking price based on his purported "extensive" local knowledge and "comparable data." Trusting in his expertise, we proceeded with his recommendation. However, the reality sharply deviated from his assurances. Despite Jonathan's bold claims of having 380+ prospective buyers in our property's price range, the promised 10-15 viewings materialized into just ONE over a two-month period. This lone viewing was conducted at a substandard level, with the assigned agent demonstrating a lack of basic information about the property, information we had already provided to Jonathan during our initial meeting. To compound the frustration, Jonathan assured us of weekly progress and feedback calls throughout the eight-week period. Shockingly, we received only two calls, leaving us uninformed and in the dark for the majority of the process. Drawing from my five years of experience in the business and involvement in approximately 250 transactions, I can unequivocally state that Jonathan has proven to be disingenuous. His lack of professionalism and accountability for the shortcomings of both himself and his team is concerning. Furthermore, he appears unwilling to receive honest and fair feedback regarding the lack of service and unfulfilled promises. In conclusion, if you're seeking an agent to ensure your property languishes on the market without selling, I wholeheartedly recommend Burns and Webber, based on my regrettable experience.
