Due to my personal situation with references, the process was quite stressful for me, but everything was handled with great professionalism. I was looking to rent a property outside of London (which is where I live now), when I came across one from Romans. Nick Smith dealt with my tenancy process and he was always very helpful and always there when I needed. Very friendly and gave all the attention needed, answered all the questions I had and helped me with the documentation as well as making sure the house is completely ready for a move in. We bought our house in November 2025 and Charlie from Romans was very helpful during this process. Charlie went above and beyond to show us the house - we had multiple visits, one was after his normal hours, on a Friday night too! Romans offered a great service and we’d highly recommend them.

We purchased a property through Ashtons, Stockton Heath in December 2025. Having dealt with most of the local estate agents on the search for our new home, I can honestly say Ashtons were head and shoulders above the rest. They always answered the phone, always replied promptly to emails and the whole team are fantastic. They were honest and open, nothing covered up and everything explained. Special thanks to Brad who was amazing in supporting us and communicating so brilliantly throughout the process. Other mentions to Cathy and Mollie-super cheerful and lovely to deal with. Overall I couldn’t fault this branch and would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone buying or selling.

Matt, Simon and Catherine our move manager bent over backwards to help us with our move to Fleet. Matt was great on both of our viewings of the property, answering all our questions and giving us advice on the area. Then through what was a challenging few months to completion, we were really impressed with their consistent communication and support in chasing updates on both sides of the chain. They had clearly formed a positive relationship with our venders and helped to provide reassurance to them on our behalf for delays or issues, which we gratefully appreciated. A fantastic team, would highly recommend.
