Burns and Webber were extremely helpful in the purchase of our house in Farnham. They offered highly professional, yet relaxed, service and assisted us in the process every step of the way. In a difficult period with restrictions, lockdowns and Christmas thrown in for good measure they made the process not only swift, but also smooth. We originally instructed Burns & Webber for our sale in 2019, but didn't sell on that occasion, so decided to do work on the property before returning it to the market. We selected them because Martin Hunt made an impression on us of being trustworthy, honest and likeable. It was also handy that B & W were connected more widely to Curchods, and we figured there was possibly a good market for us amongst people moving out of London. So reputation and reach were a factor. They are a little pricey - but competitive, and then again the flat rate fee made everything straightforward and simple and their high standards of service make it worthwhile. We kept in touch with Martin and the team before deciding to relaunch the house over Christmas 2020. I have always felt that Martin and his team are 'real' and have given us great advice, including being realistic about the price we marketed at and the state of the market. They have always been pleasant to deal with over the phone and in person (when this was possible), answering questions and keeping us informed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Martin and his team at Burns and Webber Farnham.
