Having reviewed your case, we note that your request involved removing yourself from a shared tenancy. Under Scottish law: A joint tenant cannot unilaterally exit a tenancy without agreement from all other tenants or the landlord. Remaining tenants must either find a suitable replacement or agree to cover the departing tenant’s share.
