Lawton and Dawe - as the below reviews convey are a unique breed of Estate Agent. We rented a student property through them and they were both professional and empathetic throughout. They were patient with our registration and did not hound us for a holding deposit. They invited us for subsequent viewings to individually ask tenants what furniture they wanted in their rooms and they even retro-fitted the kitchen to increase storage space. Lawton and Dawe, alongside our Landlord have been fantastic and I would recommend them without reservation.

Compared to previous agents that I've rented through and stories I've heard from others, I genuinely think that Lawton & Dawe is the best I have encountered so far. I would strongly recommend Jackson-Stops. They have a very professional yet warm & friendly approach, they work well with all the various stakeholders including the solicitors, and generally make the whole process quite pain-free. They were very helpful in both the Sale of our old house and also in the purchase of the new house. In particular, I would single out Chris Fairclough, who went above and beyond on several occasions. We had an issue with the first part of the chain, which had a knock-on effect on the potential sale of our house, and Chris played a very hands-on role throughout a very stressful timeframe. Everything went smoothly on completion day.

All the team at JS Dorking were very professional and caring during a protracted sale and purchase of our lovely new forever home in Dorking. Although we had the added problems of Covid restrictions and the closing end date of the stamp duty holiday, the team guided us through this time to reach our goal. Although we have no intention of moving again for quite a few years we wouldn't hesitate to employ them again or recommend them.
