I recently brought my property in Devizes through Jones Robinson, with completion on the 28-10-25. They and myself had to deal with a very difficult seller who didn't seem to understand, or want to understand the process of what they are meant to do to sell a property, but with their help and determination of the staff in the office we managed to finally get it over the line. So a big thank you to all the dedicated team at Jones Robinson I would definitely recommend them. Paul.
The sale of the cottage took over 2 years with 2 buyers pulling out and having a long wait for probate but the Jones Robinson team stuck with it. The cottage was overvalued at the beginning but the customer service was very good .
The service provided by Jones Robinson Devizes was brilliant from beginning to end. Everyone I had contact with was responsive, helpful and friendly, but I have to give special mention to Andrew Francis, who was an excellent contact point and support during my sale when we ran into several issues with solicitors. The only issue I came across (and for which one star is lost) was using their recommended solicitors, which I would advise to avoid, and for Jones Robinson to review their relationship with them, as it adds a blemish to an otherwise excellent service. Otherwise, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jones Robinson, and I would certainly use them again in future.
Excellent service. Andrew kept me informed on the way with updates etc. Probably not your fault but long delay getting a key's on the day.
I have been a longstanding client of Jones Robinson for some 15 years both on the lettings side and also the sales side. While I would not necessarily re use the Lettings Team there having found the service extremely variable I would definitely use the sales team again. Jones Robinson have sold two houses for me in the past two years. The house sale in 2022 was very straightforward - not least because of the state of the market at the time and the level of interest in the property. The team handled everything well. We had offers within 48 hours and we completed the sale within a few weeks. The second sale was a much more difficult prospect - January 2024 was not a great time to sell a house. The house needed some attention and the elderly occupant had some needs that Jones Robinson did their absolute utmost to meet. Even in a tricky market the house was sold fairly quickly and all parties did their best to conclude the sale quickly. The Jones Robinson team displayed immense patience and compassion towards the elderly occupant of the property and could not have done more on facilitating viewings etc. Having seen how they handled two very different sales but equally well I would certainly use them again.
We purchased our first house through Jones Robinson and we would be happy to purchase through them again. The communication throughout was good even if there were a few curve-balls thrown in. Andrew was usually easy to reach for an update and if he was away we were usually given prior notice. Using the Conveyancing firm that Jones Robinson recommended had its pros and cons. One of the pros being that Andrew could contact people higher up in the firm when things needed pushing forward. This being said if I were to do it again I think that we would pay more and go local. I would recommend Jones Robinson (and Andrew) for their professionalism and communication, the latter of which is key in the process of buying a house.
We had a brilliant viewing with Dora on Saturday 6th January. What a lovely lady, Dora knew everything about the property, to the point that we didn't even have any questions. It was such a pleasure to be shown round by her. She was also very sweet with our little boy. Thanks Dora, a great asset to Jones Robinson.
I purchased through JR. I have purchased over 60 properties and never once had to pay a fee to be referenced ahead of putting forward an offer. I find it astonishing that you have to pay a fee to be vetted, ahead of making an offer - an offer that can be withdrawn at anytime! I’ve been buying and selling properties for over 35 years and never once experienced this. Paying the fee doesn’t guarantee or make me any better purchaser than the next. Especially if it’s a basic search. The office staff were fairly helpful but one employee stood out head and shoulders above his colleagues - Andrew Francis is one of the best property sales managers that I’ve come across and having sold lots of properties people like him are the key to keeping the deal on the table.
Jones Robinson recently marketed my house and helped me through the sale. They provided a professional, friendly service and always reacted quickly to any concerns and queries. I am happy to recommend Andrew, Rosie and the team.
The Sales Manager at our Devizes Branch ensured that communication following the offer on our property was frequent and continuous and progressed the sale well by acting as a constant facilitator between vendor and purchaser.
