We’ve rented a flat through Martin & Co for 7 years and during the whole time they were always a pleasure to deal with. When we first found the flat through James he was only just starting the business but we were not surprised to see it rapidly becoming a success as he is a very professional and decent guy. Our landlord sold the flat some time after we moved in but the new owners kept us as tenants and the flat management was given to Martin& co and we couldn’t fault them at all during all these years. They were always quick to fix any issues and were very supportive all the way through. When we wanted to move out as we have bought our own place the lockdown happened and they were once again very supportive and understanding and we were allowed to stay until our purchase was complete. We bought our first home through James from Martin & Co, he did an excellent job at helping us get the sale pushed through when there were delays with the seller’s solicitors. I can’t speak highly enough of James, Michael and the team. Fantastic service over 2019 when looking at possibly renting, and then eventually selling my flat. Lots of help with potential landlord responsibilities if I had gone down that route, and some useful contacts supplied for electrical testing and similar. James kept a tab on the conveyancing and even helped obtain some documents that my sellers solicitors were being slow about. M&Co Crystal Palace offer a really friendly, personal approach and I would highly recommend, and happily use them again.

I have been really impressed with the standard of service James and his team consistently delivered. They have utterly shown up the other (supposedly more upmarket) management agents that my girlfriend uses by, among many other things, demonstrating fantastic initiative, using their experience to preempt issues, being incredibly responsive, always providing insightful advice on what to do during some challenging issues and otherwise generally building tremendous trust with me and with the tenant that they have already foreseen and addressed any issues that may arise. I have been equally impressed by James's service as an estate agent, particularly as it only took one viewing to sell the flat and a mere 8 weeks for the transaction to go through, very much to his credit and due in no small part to his assistance with queries and generally prodding the buyers along. Would not hesitate to recommend and indeed I have, as we have now replaced the agents on the other property with Martin & Co! A pleasure to work with.
