Terrible. Do not let through them. They failed to pay the tenants deposit on time (meant to pay to me to register, did not bother, chased them for a week, finally they did themselves but late) 2nd rent is now a week late and have no idea if it has even been paid by tenant as I haven't heard from them, not very good service for rent collection I expect them to be checking on the day and letting me know if any problems. Obviously it takes a day or 2 to go from one account to another ie streets ahead to me but its been a week. Absolute shame of an agent, wish I had never used them.
Been left in this for around a 1 (been so long lost count) had 10+ property managers who only 1 ever resolved any issues. I have been very patient tenant who has done all the work myself as I don’t like to leave in a untidy messy house. After many phone calls and emails I am still waiting on a response when this ceiling will be fixed, I have 2 children under the age of 10 who have to walk under this to get anywhere in the property. I would never recommend streets ahead as a good company they can’t even keep their staff, never sort out problems only after monies and that’s it.
Cowboys !!!!!!!!! Full off lies and would not recommend at all !!!!
Utterly appalling service ever since they took over the management of our house , no rental agreement sent , no notice given about increase in rent , takes weeks to get anyone to come out if something wrong , do not respond to emails and when you eventually get to speak to a human being they have no idea what is going on and say they will respond in writing or email and they don’t . Wish I could get hold of my landlord and tell him not to waste his money on them managing the property because quite frankly they couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery . Don’t go near them !!
came home from work to no heating in February when it had been snowing. The water pressure was low on the meter so there was no heating or hot water. I called up the water suppliers who stated it was the agency's duty of care to handle. I spoke to the agency and they gave me the number for the plumber. I called for 2 hours, leaving voicemails, no response and no call back. The agency kept messaging the urgency, but to no avail. I was told to wrap up in blankets and wait. I have not received any phone call from the plumber, and I cant feel my feet and I have cold. Absolutely terrible. I am still waiting for a call back.
Even if you pay them cash for the month's rent, you have to pay them one day ahead! So if your rent is due on the 1st, then pay cash on the 30th. Very disappointed.
One of the worst estate agents group. Very rude attitude, unprofessional people. No manners at all in 9 out of 10 employees. My advice to the MD is to send your resources to soft skill training. Teach them how to behave, respond and have proper communication. Should be ashamed of themselves.
Do NOT use these agents!! They lack integrity, professionalism, communication and managerial skills, the list goes on. I lodged a complaint with these amateurs and it hasn't been resolved to my liking, and believe me, I had grounds for complaining. They don't return calls, their emails are flooded with grammatical errors, they can't pass a message on to their employees. You really have to chase them up. Their mission statement reads, "“To be the most professional, caring and expert estate agent our clients, our community and the public come into contact with, whilst still ensuring that our commitment to staff training and innovation remains second to none enabling every client to have a smooth and stress free move.” What a load of flannel! Some clients may have had a better experience with Streets Ahead, but mine has been a complete nightmare. The Lettings managers, George Potter and Daniel Woods both refuse to respond to my calls. Highly unprofessional and cowardly. A severe lack of attention to detail is plenty evident in their correspondence. Just an utter shambles if I'm very honest. For those who have had a positive experience, count yourselves lucky because as far as I'm concerned these guys are complete cowboys. Unethical, unfair and unprofessional
