House Sale

We recently had our house on the market with Henderson Connellan, the service and staff are very professional. We had a viewing almost immediately and the couple were interested in our house. We struggled finding something suitable as we were down sizing. So we removed our house from the market and this was also handled very professionally. I wouldn't hesitate to put my house back on with this Estate Agent if something suitable comes onto the Market in the future.

Excellent help and advice with hopeful purchase of Shared ownership house

Paddy McCormack at Corby has been very helpful with advice regarding a hopeful purchase of a Shared ownership house. He has emailed very consistently over the past two weeks and has helped me in regards as to the next steps, or who to contact.. He has also arranged for finance people and a solicitor to contact me so I can take the next steps. I reserved a house yesterday after driving from Norfolk to Corby at the office, so overall I can honestly say I've had great service and advice, which being a first time buyer I really appreciate. Successful Sale!

We sold our house through Henderson Connellan last year and couldn't have been happier with the service we received. We received our first potential buyers within days of the board going up outside our house and had accepted a bid within 2-3 weeks. We were kept informed throughout the whole selling process by the very helpful staff who made what we were expecting to be a very stressful time, an absolute breeze! Can't recommend highly enough and will definitely use again.

Myself and two friends went into Henderson Connellan to rent a property in Corby. When we tried to rent as a party of three friends HC wouldn't deal with us - they explained that none of their landlords hold HMO licenses. This was the case with most lettings agencies in town, although there were a few that said it wasn't a problem as HMO licenses applied to 5 or more individuals. One friend decided to move home and when we went back as two friends the help we got was first class - Symonne our agent was very thorough and made everything very easy indeed, explaining everything clearly and simply as things progressed. We are yet to encounter any problems at the house but Symonne has given us the impression everything will be dealt with professionally.

At first, I thought Henderson Connellan were very professional and I was impressed by their sales pitch but it went downhill very quickly from there. We put our house on the market with them two weeks ago and have just cancelled our contract. They listed our house as 'detached' and 'bay-fronted' on RightMove, although our property is/has neither. I had to comb through the advert and found a total of 6 spelling/grammar issues, which made the advert look amateur at best. In two weeks, we haven't had a single person through our door, despite being informed that they had a list of 16 potentially interested contacts. I called them last Friday for an update as we hadn't heard anything and was told that our point of contact is on leave and it appears that in his absence, nobody was actively marketing our property. Although I fully accept that there isn't as much activity in the run up to Christmas, it would have been reassuring to have had a phone call or email to say that they had at least tried to follow up with the interested parties. Lastly, when we called to say that we would like to cancel our contract, they sounded glad to be rid of us and couldn't wait to get us off the phone. Not how I expect to be treated when I have made a complaint.
