Absolutely disgusting avoid using. Theyll charge the earth, hidden costs and charge you £500 to reserve a property and won't refund if the chain breaks. Rob dogs, avoid at all coat

Throughout your purchase, we worked closely with both you and the seller to help maintain your chain. When your original buyer withdrew, the seller of the property you were purchasing agreed to a substantial price reduction to assist you and help retain your buyer - something that is not common and was done to try to support you. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the sale could not be secured, and you were unable to proceed. Regrettably, the seller of the property you were purchasing has also been impacted, as she risks losing the property she was buying. Regarding the reservation fee, Redbrik uses a process called SecureMove™, designed to make the buying and selling journey more secure and efficient for all parties. SecureMove™ has significantly reduced fall-through rates compared to the wider market. The reservation fee covers a full suite of regulated and insured property searches (valued at around £375), upfront legal and administrative work to speed up the process, and a period of exclusivity during which the property is removed from the market. If a seller withdraws from the agreement, the reservation fee is fully refunded to the buyer. If a buyer had paid a solicitor directly for searches in the traditional way, that cost would typically be lost if the sale fell through. We had an extremely disappointing experience with Redbrik estate agent, Chesterfield. We have been renting a property in ListerClose and Georgina was our manager. They initially offered an early tenancy termination, but later reneged on the agreement, forcing us to pay additional 2 months rent and endure unjustified expenses. The landlord, backed by the agency, unfairly demanded our full deposit of £900 and an extra £100 for repairs despite our efforts to meet their cleaning requirements. The landlord insisted on repair costs despite a clean checkout report. This added to the unjust financial burden and highlighted the lack of fairness in their dealings. We had to raise the despute with My Deposit and waiting for the decision. Agency forced us to do multiple end of tenancy professional cleanings with the cleaning company they preferred. We did a professional carpet cleaning ourselves but they didn't believed it even after we provided invoices and bank statements. The property manager consistently sided with the landlord, causing us significant mental and financial distress. I strongly advise against choosing Redbrik for any property dealings.

We had really bad experience with Redbrik Chesterfield and their property manager Georgina. Although they initially agreed to an early tenancy termination, the landlord changed mind, resulting in an additional 2 months' rent and unexpected expenses. The checkout report was clean and I think that was the reason they didn't initially gave us the report. We had to ask them and had to visit the office to get the report. Despite meeting cleaning requirements and having a fair checkout report, the landlord, and the agency, demanded our full £900 deposit and an extra £100 for repairs. Lack of fairness in dealings prompted us to dispute with My Deposit. We submitted all the proofs and thankfully My Deposit gave most of our deposit back. This clearly proves how unfair Redbrik and the landlord treated us. Not only this but the agency required us to hire the professional cleaning team they recommended for their own financial gain. They doubted our own carpet cleaning efforts despite providing invoices and bank statements, causing significant mental and financial distress. The property manager refused to listen to our perspective and forced to hung up, assuming we were being rude.

We have been renting with redbrik for the last 18 months. Mainly our experience has been good but that's because we didn't have any issues with the property. Lately we've had some minor problems and had to contact redbrik. Georgina is the person who deals with us but I use the term deal with loosely. She never calls back when she says she will and is constantly busy doing something else We have called on multiple occasions over the last 3 months and always get promised a call back which never happens. We have tried speaking to other members of staff but they are all as incompetent as Georgina so don't call back either

Do not rent a property through this company. Horrendous! Fully managed, sell you the dream and as soon as anything is wrong, communication stops. They don’t want to know. Next move will have to be legal for breach of contract. Absolutely rubbish!

So for every letter we receive a 1 star rating will be left to show others the intrusion from this estate agents. My point Thea Cox is that its wrong to be trying to poach a property from another agent when we have had no contact with you whatsoever....

I wish I could give one star. I would never recommend Redbrik as a letting agency as they will try and take your deposit over damage that was already present on move in (even when you have proof!) and tell you blatant lies. As a tenant they were a nightmare to contact and will make you feel as if you are a second class citizen for renting. We were also charged a £600 fee to move out early as we had a change in situation and then proceeded very slowly to find a new tenant. Not only this, the letting agency who visited for viewings arrived late at the same time as the viewer so they didn't get any time to look round the house first, and I ended up having do their job for them and answer questions. They also proceeded to not turn up on one visit and not inform us they weren't coming so I wasted half my day waiting. Absolute joke of a company and shouldn't call themselves professionals. Money grabbing letting agency.

This is currently our 4th house so not new to the Estate Agent experience, but this one was not great! Do not pay upfront, less stressful if you just burn the £495. Communication was poor and inconsistent; not all staff coming up with same version of information. Only used them as they sold the property in 2019. Wouldn't use again.
