They did not keep us updated on the progress of the sale and I had to chase them several times for information. I ended up conversing directly with the buyer to chase his solicitor and progress things. They also initially listed the property on rightmove as a 3 bedroom house when it was 4. We did not have the opportunity to proof read the advert before publication.

Hi Eddie,
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts here. I do however want to use this opportunity to clarify a few of your points.
You said in your review that you were not given the opportunity to proof read your property’s advert before marketing. I have checked our internal system and can see that our photographer came out to your property on the 6th of April, and that your brochure was sent to you for approval on the 8th of April. On the 9th of April, you came back to us approving the brochure with a couple of minor amendments. Those amendments were made and then the property went live on the market. The mistake of being listed as a 3 bed instead of a 4 bed property was highlighted to us 2 days later and we immediately amended the listing and I apologise on behalf of the team for this initial mistake.
We are happy that we managed to agree a sale within 3 weeks of being on the market and I can see on the file over 12 pages of notes throughout the progress chasing stage. We’re sorry to hear that this was not satisfactory for you, and we will use this feedback to improve our service going forward.
I hope this clears things up.
Best wishes,
Lucy
