I had a very disappointing experience with the Chatham branch of Robinson Michael Jackson, specifically with the handling of my purchase by Kiran. As a first-time buyer, I made every effort to carry out proper due diligence, including requesting a second viewing shortly after my offer was accepted. This was not facilitated for several months, despite multiple requests, and even after I had already paid for a survey. This delay meant that when I was finally able to revisit the property, it was very late in the process and close to the seller’s intended completion date. During the second viewing, I identified an issue that required further inspection by a builder, which I had to arrange at short notice and additional cost due to the delays. When raising this, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive response, being told that my surveyor “should have picked it up,” despite the fact the survey had been carried out months earlier. When I attempted to renegotiate based on professional advice, I felt significant pressure was applied due to the seller’s timeline, culminating in being told “we will not be doing business with you.” This came across as highly unprofessional and inappropriate, particularly given my position in the chain as a first-time buyer. Communication throughout was poor, and there was a lack of consideration for my position in the transaction. The process felt rushed at the end due to earlier delays that were not of my making. I will say that Sam, the branch manager, did step in and made a genuine effort to resolve matters, which I appreciated. However, this does not outweigh the overall experience. Based on my experience, I found the service to be unprofessional, poorly managed, and not supportive of a buyer acting in good faith.
I am disappointed with how we were treated in regards to making an offer with absolutely no communication.We had to chase this agent who lied to us and kept us hanging on for six days whilst we were in the dark.I have nothing good to say about this agent...You make an offer you don't want to chase the agent yourself in a negotiation process...A negotiation process which is so poor and six days later to find out its a no....As people who really wanting to give any stars because right now six days of waiting for a reply basically a no is disgusting.
Not happy at all with the Service they had a property up for sale literally three days didn’t give us a chance to view it Mark said he will call me on Monday didn’t receive no call went down on Tuesday to chase them up about the property , they said the property was sold , it doesn’t make no sense , they should give other people chance to view the property , not just sold it in three days never mind something come up better Next time , Robson should give people a chance 😡 If the property was full to you , you could still squeeze people to view the house , i don’t think it’s fair that you didn’t want to chat to us for long , if you want to remove us off the mailing list it’s up to you
Have not been messaged back regarding a valuation on my property. So not good was wondering if they are conducting valuation??? Obviously not desperate to sell properties. So no review possible
One of the most unprofessional situations I have ever seen! Conducting viewings without knowing information about the property, handling shared ownership without knowing how it works, stupid errors on paperwork wasting my time. And all that while they lied to us about the property being ready to move in next month, while it is actually involved in a chain that will take about a year to clear. AVOID them! If you are looking for honesty and professionalism, just stay away from them!
I have had a terrible experience with Robinson Michael and Jackson, I put an offer in on a property and 5 working days later still haven't heard back after following up with a call and an email. I'm not convinced they actually put my offer forward to the seller. The service is just appalling, a call back even with no news is just common courtesy.
