I was really anxious starting to look for a new place as in the eight years I lived in the UK, I didn't have the best experiences whilst renting. For a few years now I lived in a place that was making me more and more miserable with each passing year, yet I stuck around because as the saying goes: "Better the devil you know than the devil you don't." The boiling point eventually hit, not only for myself but also for my closest friend, so we decided to look for a new place together. Not a shared house, preferably via agency. And during our search, we stumbled upon a property managed by Reeds. And Dear Reader, when I tell you, that I have never dealt with a team showing such professionalism, care, patience and helpfulness, I truly mean it - from the initial viewing until the handover of keys (and hopefully beyond). Sure, the vetting process and paperwork were stressful and anxiety-inducing, but none was caused by the Reeds team. In fact, I got an immense sense of "We are in good hands, these guys are serious!" And not only serious. Every member of the team I exchanged emails with or dealt with in person was just the most pleasant person. All the folks there are incredibly attentive, helpful and quick to respond to any query of the silliest degree with candour and guidance. "Patience is a virtue," and by this logic, Phil Simpson is the most virtuous person ever having to deal with me and my friend, as we haven't made his life easy due to various setbacks and misunderstandings. He stuck with us and put his trust in us. Now, thanks to him we are about to have a much-needed upgrade to our daily lives. Right off the bat one of the best experiences I had dealing with anybody, company-wise especially. Now, here's hoping, this good experience will continue during our tenancy :)

Due to living over 300 miles North I was unable to self manage my rental property in Padiham.
