Selling a property is never easy but especially not during one of the worst markets in recent years. JLL were great from the start - they valued our property in line with the other agents we were looking at and offered us flexible rates and competitive terms which is why we went with them. I didn't gel with the first agent JLL assigned to the property but as soon as Charlotte took it over I knew that we had the right agent - Charlotte worked extremely hard to get us the right viewings and always came back with timely feedback which really helped with my nerves! Unfortunately due to the market we had to reduce the property price however this helped to open it up to a load more potential buyers and this meant we were able to get an offer. Our first offer was way off the mark but Charlotte worked with the buyer to increase it to an acceptable level. We then had a difficult and long 7 month period between offer acceptance and exchange in which anyone could have pulled out but Charlotte kept in regular communication and helped to keep the sale progressing. We exchanged with our buyer yesterday despite all of the doom and gloom in the markets and we're really happy with the service we received from JLL - and particularly Charlotte - and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
A big thank you to the JLL team, especially Charlotte, who helped in the sale of our apartment. From the initial valuation that was spot on right throughout the process they have been excellent. Great communication. Realistic expectations. Good post sale service. Couldn't really ask for much more. Only downside was having to move away from Greenwich!
6 months later and its completed! I spotted my ideal first home to buy online and clicked immediately to have a viewing. I was swiftly contact via phone by Senior Sales Consultant, Charlotte to arrange a date for a viewing. Throughout my 6-month buying process with JLL, Charlotte has been friendly, professional as has put a first-time buyer like myself at easy during this daunting process. She was always on hand either on email or phone to answer any questions I had…which were many. Before I found my home, I had experienced many other agents with whom I had set up viewing with. Some were just too pushy, some lacked personality, one in particular was just cocky/arrogant. Friends also told me about their bad experiences with their agents through their own buying process. One included bad attitude and the other told my friend ‘not to bother’ with home survey, to avoid revealing major issues within the property. My journey with JLL has been the opposite from these awful stories, Charlotte went above and beyond her role to sort me out on a few extra things (huge thanks for all those times). O my day of my completion she was on a well-deserved break, but left me in great care of her manager, Graham. I walked into a such a lovely vibe in the office, the team congratulated me and gave me a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. I did get to thank her in person a week later…she was in the building having viewings for the remaining flats. My friends were visiting that morning, and she even took out extra time to take my friends round to view. The service from the JLL Greenwich team is first class and I highly recommend you sort your housing needs with them!
Isobel and the team at JLL were absolutely fantastic in helping us find our new home. Having dealt with some horrific reals estate agents in London over the years, Isobel and her colleagues went out of their way to ensure the smoothest possible process, met us multiple times to re-view the property (even on short notice), punctually responded to emails and were exceptionally upfront about charges. I'd highly recommend contacting Isobel if you're looking to rent in or around Greenwich.
