John Shepherd managed the sale of my apartment, which due to an uncertain market at the time wasn’t a particularly straightforward sale. I’m happy to say I felt well taken care of throughout. Their advice was always well informed and well considered and their service and professionalism was consistently excellent - from Maggie at the earlier stages and then Emilie later on. In particular the way Emilie handled a number of unexpected issues from the buyer side was particularly impressive. We had productive and candid conversations and it was always clear to me what was happening. There was also a lot of thinking outside of the box from Emilie to get things back on track! At the 11th hour there was another issue from the buyer and the sale looked certain to fall through. This is where Emilie really came to the rescue. I gather this took some very delicate conversations with the buyer and their solicitor but somehow she managed to turn it around. Selling a home is a very emotive experience and in the wrong hands can be a nightmare. I wouldn’t hesitate to use John Shepherd again. You can never control every aspect of the process but having the right expertise, experience and customer service ethos on your side makes all of the difference.
