Honestly this has been one of the most traumatic and horrific moments of my life. Not only was Amelia the property manager rude to me and raised her voice at me on the phone , the company wants to withhold my deposit. I would advice anyone to not use this company as they have a reputation for withholding deposits 🙏 …
One of the worst experiences I have had with an agency. They don't listen to you at all and some of them are really rude.
My family and I arrived at the property at the same time as another prospective viewer, who was a white lady. When the agent arrived, he did not greet us or even say hello. Instead, we were told that he did not have the key to the property …
Very disappointing experience with this agency. We paid the deposit and were led to believe that the apartment was ours. Based on that, we completed all the required procedures and waited for the next steps. …
Very disappointing experience. I travelled to attend a scheduled viewing, only to receive a phone call when I was approximately five minutes away to say the property had already been taken and the viewing was cancelled. I then agreed to …
Shit service they call you 5 times for viewing and when you reach the property, the Person tells you we have to reschedule and everything that’s not how it works I wasted my time. I took a day off went to see the House and their colleague telling me that they can’t show me the Property that’s not fair that’s not how it works not recommended at all
Would not recommend. This has been my worst renting experience in 8 years in this city. I raised a formal complaint over two months ago regarding tenancy handling, communication delays, early-release discussions, maintenance delays, and lack of clear policy explanations. To date, I have not received a proper response. Complaint handling and communication need serious improvement.
I moved into a property let by Martin and Co. just a few weeks before legislation was introduced that would stop agents from charging tenants admin fees. To my surprise they insisted that I pay a "check out fee" up front as opposed the end of my tenancy. The property itself had several issues, most notably an electric shower unit which had a screw loose. If the cover fell off whilst I was showering and exposed the element to water it could very well have caused serious injury or death (electric showers are rated to 8kW). At the end of my first yeat Martin and Co. through their wisdom decided to increase my rent by £70 p/mo without consulting the landlord first (I was well acquainted with the landlord by this point). I asked him about this and it turns out they had not even consulted him in the first place! It transpired that they usurped him in order to offset the money they weren't making from charging tenants admin fees. This is appalling practise. They may very well have lovely plush offices, it's a shame they have such hollow integrity. Total money vacuum, don't bother with these crooks.
