Aylesbury branch of this company should stop preying on the innocence of the customers. They should be honest in dealing with their clients. They have prepared a fraudulent check-out bill for my sister to pay after she left her rented apartment. But that will not work to the advantage of the company. It is a shame that some branches will won't to ruin the hard earned reputation of the company. Don't fall for their tricks. #dohonestjobNegativeProfessionalism

Absolutely shambles of a company ( Bicester ) very unprofessional and the property manager AMY refused to sort out our housing issue when we had our roof blown off in the wind and a constant leak for 3 weeks and a smashed conservatory. Still no reply from any of her emails. She Advised us she had arranged a contractor to sort the roof after numerous emails but still nothing has happened to this date after she promised she had arranged someone to fix it. I have reported the company to the local authorities and I would highly recommend staying away from this estate agents. They do not care about you, only when they receive commission from the rent. I hope this review shows what kind of company you are to others. I am surprised this company is still running. After having used their services as a tenant closed to 7 years with my kids, I feel let down and now they want to cheat me off my deposit. I left the property after relocating and now, them knowing I have £1050 as deposit is trying all they can to take not quarter not half but 93% of it. I have left the property for almost a month now and I am still trying to get my deposit to be released to me. Using them, there were days I went on without hot water for me and my kids, when there is a fault and you report, it takes a long time before it gets look at. Sometime you have to escalate to the Landlord to have your issue resolved. After all these negative treatments, they are conniving to not release my deposit. Impossible to get hold of. Awful at replying back to emails etc. Had no water pressure in our rental for over 2 weeks and barely any contact from them. Very poor service.

I've been rented a house for a year with Alexander & co, all good and beautiful at the beginning, the bad part came at the end of the contract and I would like to mención that we were good tenants and left the house in perfect conditions and yet they found the smallest defects and transformed them in big issues, almost they wanted us to change the aged carpet and paint all the walls for some small scratches that have been there since we moved, all this so as not to give us the deposit money, in addition, they entered inside our house 2 months before the contract ended, with strangers to show them the house without notifying us many times, in the middle of the pandemic ,horrible experience, I do not recommend it to anyone

I advice everyone to find another agency. My situation was the same as a lot of individuals, at the beginning of the tenancy it was great, really friendly people but once I signed the tenancy agreement they changed. Last year, early December 2019 time frame approx. 1 month after I moved in, my heater and hot water stopped working. I emailed my agency to see if they can have someone fix it and I did not a get a respond for 4 days. So for 4 days I was showering in cold water and the house was freezing cold. If you let with them just know they are terrible at responding just recently I moved out of the house i was letting from them and I felt I was being scammed I emailed the agent called Vicky that I thought the amount of money taken from my security deposit was too much. She provided me SOME receipts but Once I asked her to provide me with receipts of costs they were taking from my deposite she immediately stopped responding. It’s been a week and I have emailed her 3 times and still no response. To sum it all up for you guys, they have terrible customer service and if you let from them, they will most likely take most of your security deposite. Branch manager if you see this send me your email. I still need to discuss my security deposite issue and hopefully this way I can get a respond from you agents at Alexander & co. Everything perfect until you need their help. Boiler failing to start every day - no response in 3 months. Electrical repairs done, but they broke the lighting in one of the rooms - no response in a month. Gutter needing repair reported in self check app - no response in 2 months.

Better communication, I have repeatedly asked for my keys to be returned but I have had no acknowledgement and certainly no keys.

I rented a house with a friend and at first there was no problem with the agency, but at the end we received the report from the company about the house, which we have kept in perfect condition. The report indicates that the cleaning with the house when we moved in was professional, but the cleaning that was done for the moved out was only clean. Is important say that my friend was duty manager in a cleaning company that works in one of the best known places in England, so we know the standards of "professional cleaning" which for them is just "clean". There was absolutely nothing that the agency considered professional cleaning. This is just disappointing.
