Daniel, I am sorry that you feel that you have had a bad experience on the Northwood Guaranteed Rent scheme. Northwood Beverley and Hull have worked with a landlord named Daniel Smith for a significant number of years in the past (between 2011 and 2023), however to my recollection there were never any complaints about the levels of service delivered. If your experience was indeed with our office, I would be very grateful if you could make contact so that we can discuss further as we are always open to feedback from our clients in order that we can improve upon our service and learn from any potential mistakes that we have made.

I understand your frustration, however we only took over management of the property in July23 through acquisition and only ever conducted one inspection during your tenancy which was in Sept23 prior to you moving out in Dec23. We no longer work with this landlord as we are responsible agents that strive to provide safe and compliant properties for our tenants on behalf of our landlords. We will never knowingly let a property that does not meet compliance and/or safety requirements and will always work closely with our landlords to maintain standards for our tenants through regular inspections and maintenance activities. I am sorry that you felt let down and that your expectations were not met by our predecessors. Should you wish to discuss further, I am more than happy to take your call.
