Awful, avoid at all costs. Don't return calls, damn right rude to. There are much much better agents.

Martin & Co are useless, rude and incompetent. When you call up the office its like speaking to a bunch of hormonal teenagers, the woman we had to show us round the property couldn't even muster a smile- even when I was transferring over agency fees she couldn't be polite. Martin & Co have stinking attitudes and poor work ethic, such as taking days off half way through an application process and not even notifying their clients. Not happy, if we didn't love the house so much we would have told them to forget it.

They are great at finding a property as that is where there commission comes from. Alas on check out they will withold a huge chunk of your deposit! Be warned!! They will use over inflated quotes more then double the going price!? They will ensure the inventory person they use that you pay for recommends the smallest thing to be paid for by the Tennant- in fact after 2yrs in our property the only Fair Wear and Tear item listed by Martin and Co was a bent door stop the rest was to be paid for by us- yes to redecorate the whole house so it looks like it was never lived in!! Beware your deposit, just because it is in a scheme just delays the estate agent getting it- the LL doesn't get it any more, it is swallowed up in the letting agents over inflated quotes. Ensure any and all dealings with Martin and CO basingstoke are done IN WRITING.
