When deciding to sell our home earlier this year we chose to use the Estate Agent Belvoir. We had considered online agents but felt a traditional agent would be better for us due to the fees being paid on completion. Jamie Bennett came out to do a valuation and explain the processes and fee structure, which we thought was very reasonable and competitive. My wife and I were very impressed with his punctuality and professionalism, and general friendliness when dealing with our inexperience. Jamie then booked in for the photos and returned with a very impressive camera system that captured fantastic images of our property. Once all pictures were done the property went to market and we very quickly had a number of interested parties. We accepted a full price offer 3 days after the house being on the market. Jamie even talked us through the positions of each of the buyers to help us make the most informed decision. Once we had accepted the offer we then began dealing with the Belvoir Move Manager Natalie Painter. Natalie was very helpful and courteous, and kept us updated on everything that was going on with the sale. Additionally, Natalie also kept us updated with the whole chain, and when some of the chains solicitors were having communication problems, she stepped in to keep the whole process moving. Had it not been for Natalie I think that we would not have completed before Christmas, or may have even lost the whole sale. Due to delays my wife and I had decided to break the chain for our onward purchaser ourselves, but Natalie still spoke with our purchase chain to give us updates on their progress. Being honest we had more updates from our Agent than the sellers Agent. Once we got to completion Natalie gave us all of the information we needed to make this as seamless as possible, and even provided suggestions on who to contact post sale to ensure all relevant parties were updated. Again very helpful as there were several we had not considered ourselves. Overall the service provided by Belvoir was exceptional, especially from Jamie and Natalie, and should we have need of an Agent again in the future we both hope that Belvoir, Jamie and Natalie would be there to help.PositiveQuality, Professionalism

We have recently come to the end of a 6+ year tenancy with Belvoir. We knew from the start that they were a good agency, when our washing machine needed attention shortly after moving in, and was sorted incredibly quickly. I was a first time renter but Belvoir made the process seamless. Jo Jones put me at ease during checking-in and checking-out and so it was less stressful than I had anticipated. Very professional and responsive, she was really good at chasing both sides to make sure the process wasn't unduly delayed and kept us fully up to date at all points during the sale. She was also really friendly and it was a pleasure to speak with her. My sister is going through the same process with another estate agents and her experience has been below average. I felt that Belvoir Basingstoke have gone above and beyond with their services, we even received a house warming box upon collecting the keys which was a really lovely touch and contained a few of the essentials! We purchased a property being sold through Belvoir. From the beginning of the process everyone we spoke to was very helpful and responsive. Once our offer was accepted, Natalie, Move Manager, gave us regular updates and consistently chased all solicitors in the chain to get us moved. I received more updates from Natalie than I did from my own estate agent and solicitor. Natalie was amazing! We also received a nice welcome box when we picked up the keys. Belvoir were amazing! They were our vendor's estate agent, not ours but they were a lot more helpful than my own estate agent. It was a tricky sale from start to finish due to stamp duty deadlines and my solicitor's incompetence and without Natalie at Belvoir, I really don't know how it would have happened in time. She was constantly there for me as much as her vendors. She always kept me in the loop and helped the whole process go through, constantly chasing everyone and going out of her way to make things happen. I couldn't have got through it without her. And then, just an hour after we moved in, we received a lovely gift box with everything we needed for our first night in a new home: tea, yummy biscuits, bin bags etc. I can't recommend them enough. I have been telling everyone about them!
