It would only be fair to break this review down into the key stages: The pitch and marketing - Mathew comes across as sincere and professional, not pushy, very competitive rate, does everything to stage your home for the right pictures, even came back to take a picture of the outside when the sun was shining. Property was advertised in all major and minor locations as standard. The sales process - great at getting folks to come see the property, had an arrangement where Belvoir simply emailed/texted the viewings and if we couldn't have them happen at that time simply respond with a proposed alternative. However as someone who likes closed loops, there were many occasions when we felt a subsequent follow up communication or a weekly summary would have been that extra stars worth. The sold to completion process - What can we say, Natalie was superb, talk about dedication, pursued the chain, communicated up and down, simply brilliant and the star of the group for sure.
Overall experience with Belvoir has been a positive one from a landlord's perspective, quick to react to maintenance issues, good on communications, quick with finding new tenants. It was generally stress free with their management. Key strength is maintenance coordination, when it comes to maintenance they do a superb job in coordination. Special mention to Shahida on a recent fence renewal work done, great on communications and updates. There is some room for improvement when it comes to installing new appliances, warranty registration, new manual scanning all has to be prompted instead of it being taken care of proactively.
Many thanks to Jo Jones for a fair assessment of the flat condition and fair arrangement with landlord. I am happy that thanks to her help I have a good portion of my deposit back.
We have only been tenants through Belvoir since June but had to report a few maintenance issues.. One being no power in the shower and the kitchen being a bit run down. Within a couple of months we have had an upgrade to the kitchen and a new power shower fitted, which is great! Really appreciate everyone we have spoke to and who have helped in the Basingstoke office in resolving the issues we have raised. Thank you!
Unfortunately due to the size of the lounge in the flat and how close it was to Railway Lines I will not be pursuing the rent of this Flat.
