Balgores are one of the many letting agencies I have used over my years of lettings and they have been the most helpful by far. I communicated with Jordon and fount she was very helpful and tried her best to move me in as soon as possible. I am very grateful for all her effort and hard work
I had a nightmare tenant situation and had to go through the long winded eviction process. This took about 9 months before I got my property back. I am really grateful to Mia from Balgores for helping me out. She was always at hand for any questions I had and always kept me up to date with progress. Don't return calls and can't get hold of anyone
Happy to get your cash, but then it all went down hill after that. Its a shame really as this was our first experience of the rental market and the distance from where we are to Basildon didnt help. All communication was done by phone. There were some really rude back end staff with attitude issues we found to be unprofessional in their manner in speaking to a potential new tenant. Regardless of if your buying, selling or renting, Balgores tone should of remained professional not impolite
I put my house on the market 8 weeks ago with John, the first meeting I thought what a lovely guy and I signed that day. Unfortunately my house wasn’t selling and I agreed to dropped the price as John advised and I agreed this would be best, after a few more weeks he wanted to drop again and I didn’t agree, due to my situation I couldn’t afford too. John knowing this also, Further to this my house still wasn’t selling so I made the decision to go with a new estate agent when my 8 week contract was up, I informed John, given him 2 weeks notice, as advised. A viewing came in and I accepted with one day left in my contract, as John knew, they made an offer which I politely declined as I needed the full asking price or at least close john texted me saying do you think the 15k less would make a difference? Knowing my circumstances I found this message very upsetting and unprofessional as he should have the clients best interest at heart and would try and get the most he could, he then persisted to text me a photo from the website that my new agent has uploaded today ‘ I think our photograph was better have fun and maybe ask them to retake this one’ I honestly cannot not believe a professional business owner would text these kind of messages, after I have been nothing but polite and honest, I have found the whole 8 weeks quiet unprofessional and unhelpful and this is the icing on the cake, all I can say is if you choose Carter Remy to sell your house, good luck !! In my opinion He over priced my house and got my hopes up and when he couldn’t sell it and I decided to move on he become rude and so what arrogant.
As a property investor and in this case, a first time buyer, I had the worse experience with Balgores. Dillan Mack was awful to work with and so unprofessional. For context, I viewed a beautiful property but during my first viewing I noticed damp which I raised with Dillan the next day. I explained that I would make an initial offer and would increase my offer if my suspicions about the damp were incorrect. Dillan informed me that my offer was too low and if I proceeded to make my offer he would instruct the vendor to reject the offer. I made the offer and was then told to verify it, I had to speak with their in-house mortgage broker before they could put my offer forward to the vendors. I explained I already had my DIP which they were welcome to see but he still forced this matter. I then went to view the same property for a second viewing with a relative who has his own building and construction business to establish if the property had damp, which of course, it did, rising damp! The moisture levels were double what you would expect in a residential property!!! Despite this, I decided to increase my initial offer slightly and subject to the works being undertaken to remedy the damp. To my surprise, Dillan informed me that the vendor was aware of the damp and was in the process of doing the work. As the listing agent, if this was known, it should not have taken a potential buyer to identify the obvious attempt to cover up and unwillingly purchase a property without this being declared. Days went by and I heard nothing from Dillan with regards to my offer. By the time he eventually did call about my offer, he asked if I would be prepared to increase my second offer on the basis that the vendor would do the remedial works themselves, but there would be no receipts or sign off for the works completed!!! Luckily for me I had an offer accepted on another property and thankfully walked away from the Balgores property. No surprise that the property came back on the market after a couple of months and amusingly, Balgores attempted to get in touch with me, no doubt to see if I would purchase the property. Thankfully, I've now completed on my first home with an amazing agent that was horrified by my experience with Balgores and supported me through my buying journey. Safe to say I would not recommend Balgores and for anyone looking to sell their property, avoid like the plague!
Very disorganized and unprofessional... I was interested in a property, and booked a view as soon as it appeared on the market. It kept getting cancelled and rebooked for a later date. After almost a week of waiting and getting ready to go and visit the place, I was told it was taken by someone else.
Not happy with the Basildon office.Used you guys for two properties over the last 7/8 years gave you loads of money. Just phoned you guys for an electrician's number as a favour as need an electrical test done and you wouldn't give me the number. Would think very carefully if I ever use you again.
