"Liars who do everything to..."

I started renting a property with them on November, and due to changes on circumstances of the landlord, on March they informed me that they were selling the property. In the first few weeks I pointed out some issues of the property, and as consequence they set an inspection on February, 4 months later, meaning I had live with those issues at least four months. The day of the inspection, I showed all the issues and raise concern for my safety due to the broken gate in the back garden. Two weeks later I haven't heard anything from them so I sent an email. Another couple of weeks have passed and they contacted me to tell me about the house being sold, ignoring all the issues I mentioned. Those issues were broken blinds, oven light not working, the outside light broken, the garden backdoor and some small others. When they first told me that the house was being sold, they also told me not to worry since it may take 6 months to sell the house, plus they need to give me 2 months notice at least. They also told me that I would get the last month as refund for the trouble. 3 months later they sent me the notice to leave, which seems weird since they said 6 months and only 3 have passed. They also went back on their word where I would be refunded the last month of rent, saying that I need to pay all. This cause me to rush finding a new property quickly, and I had to settle for one that does not satisfy all my needs. Also they never even offered me help to find something new. When I left, I paid a professional cleaning company to do the job, which they did properly since I was there when they finished and I was able to check and took pictures showing the job, but still they are asking me to pay for their professional cleaning, which I will definitely going to dispute. They sent me a report showing missing lightbulbs, wall fillings, and other issues that were there before I moved in, and they wanted to charge me for those too. When I first moved in, I took away their lightbulbs and used mine ones, and when I left I put back the ones they gave me, and I never damage the walls, I don't even put nails in those, in order to not damage them. They also complain about the co2 alarm not working, which never worked. When I spoke with them to the phone about that, they clearly didn't care about anything I was saying. I rented in Scotland for the past 8 years, and I had problems, but never this bad. I don't know if it is because I am in England or they are just the worst company ever. Anyway do not trust them.

Absolutely shocking service. Needed a valuation on a 4 bed house, 3 bed and a 1 bedroom house. After 2 weeks I called to say I had not received any news on the valuation , told they had my email spelt wrong and would resend the valuations once again. No joy I called Belvoir only to speak with Andrew himself who first said he needed more time ? Then we hit the nail on the head when he said he hadn't done anything about it as yet followed by " I forgot I'm only being honest " He also insulted me by saying he was a busy man with paying customers which come first. I then reminded him where paying customers first start with a partnership to which he then tried to blag...obviously lost my custom.

Would strongly encourage anyone considering to look elsewhere for rental and letting services. Wholly unreliable, often completely unavailable and have a history of utter negligence, causing deterioration in tenant relationships. Only selected one star as zero wasn't available

As explained to you as a new contractor to us, payment is sought from the deposit scheme in place. This can sometimes delay payment slightly, but this is why we explained this to you prior to the work commencement. Payment was made promptly once the deposit had arrived.

Wanted to buy flat with Belvoir although I offered more than others They haven’t accepted my offer very dissatisfied with service…..

What I would have liked was complete honesty about the state of my property. There was no mention of the damaged roof causing flooding into my bathroom. The damp was painted over, instructed by belvoir. The water leaked into an illegal double socket behind the washing machine. I only found this out when my electrics tripped. The wall is so damp, it's crumbled. Not sure how this was missed by the surveyor. There are so many issue's that I would not have bought the property. I took down my original review about the leaking woodburner when I was offered support by belvoir. Once removed, they declined the support. This review is staying

Unfortunately estate agents are unable to check the condition of roofs and/or dampness. We always recommend having a comprehensive survey of any property before buying. I'm sure your solicitor would have recommended the same.
