Worst in York. Really bad attitude. Don't believe in those landlords' reviews as they earned money.

Radiator heads were always not working as they look like more than 20 years old. The plumber repaired the radiator heads and didn't replace with new ones. He just put it on the radiators and TOLD US NOT TO TOUCH. At the end, the belvoir charged 144 pounds for three radiator heads. They said the radiator heads were broken by us. Rediculous.

Hi Zayang, as we discussed, the plumber said that all the Thermostatic valves had been snapped off, we paid for them the first time he fixed them, We also paid for extra cleaning after finding vomit down the side of the bed, the garden needed extra work and you weren't charged for this. When we discussed the bond deductions you agreed happily, if you are still not happy, please can you call our office instead of leaving the 4 reviews that you have. Never rent a property from this agent, you wont get any penny back for the deposit, and all your messages and emails will be ignored automatically, this is the worst experience that you can expect from renting a property, especially for students overseas. They dont think you can argue for deposit back seriously, so they just keep not replying to you. Regarding 28 Siward Street, YO10 3LW, Term 2017-2018

I'm sorry but I think you may have the wrong letting agency, we are not a student letting agency and we don't have any record of you as a tenant on our database. These are quite serious remarks you are making as all of our deposits are protected with The DPS so we don't have any way of keeping or accessing our tenants deposits. My experience with Belvoir had started very well when I got my apartment for rent, they were kind and all. They also asked the landlady to accept my pet (for an extra fee), which she did, so I was very happy. On the other hand, they left me for 2 months without hot water in the shower, and it took 9 months to change my door lock, as it used to get blocked every day. My dad even got locked inside the house once, and I had to leave work early to go help him open the door. When leaving the place after a year (as I left the country), they refused to do the final inspection and they then charged me a lot of money for stuff I did not do, but I could not dispute it as I had already left the country. Very smart of them. But I am seeking legal advice, as all this is clearly against the law. Stay as far away as possible from them.
