I was disappointed to learn that, although they initially valued my mother’s property highly and were very convincing about what they could achieve, the experience changed once the first three weeks had passed. Since then, there has been considerable pressure to reduce the asking price. Having worked in the city, I’m familiar with some of the tactics used to win business and then apply pressure afterwards, not very professional. I also felt that the team lacked sufficient local knowledge and experience. Perhaps they should consider employing staff who have a stronger understanding of the area and can properly highlight the unique selling points of local properties. I would strongly recommend doing your due diligence before signing with them and being locked in for months. While they are very good at presenting themselves and talking about how they can outperform the competition, in my experience the focus should ultimately be on the client and achieving the best possible outcome for them.
