It is important that people are able to take a balanced view on the property market at this testing time and the frustrations that it can occasionally deliver. I am so sorry that your purchase failed to complete and to be frank I understand your frustration. The owner of the property you were looking to buy through us is equally disappointed that the owner of the home at the top of the chain being purchased through another agent messed everyone around for so long. You as a buyer, and our client as a seller demonstrated extreme patience and understanding throughout. Over the years I have noticed that these things quite often work themselves out in the end but on this occasion it was just not meant to be. As we had nothing to do with the owner of the property at the top of the chain there was very little influence we could have although John did everything possible with the estate agent concerned and also the owner directly. Despite his best endeavours the client at the top of the chain clearly did not want to move and the chain fell apart. Again I am so sorry that this has caused such inconvenience, it is an ending that nobody envisaged or wanted.
