Never met such an unprofessional estate agent. Recently moved out of a property and they are charging us left right and centre for things which are totally unfair. We cleaned the house up and down thoroughly including cleaning carpets (which we installed as carpet fitters). We have been charged for them to get someone in to clean the already clean carpets. Plug sockets need testing although none were tested when we moved in and its just totally unfair! This company bully their way in and dont want to gove you yoir deposit back at the end of your agreement. THIS COMPANY ARE BULLYS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Dear Mr Gilbertson, thank you for your review on Google it is always good to get feedback from tenants that are moving out of our properties. I am sorry that you feel we are "charging you left, right and centre" when we have not charged you for anywhere near the things we should have. We have been incredibly lenient. You should have been charged for the following:-
1. A full property clean - it was not left clean. WE ARE NOT CHARGING FOR THIS.
2. All carpets to be cleaned, they had not been professionally cleaned, you had cleaned a few patches, we are only charging you for the lounge, hallway and stairs. NOT CHARGING FOR ALL ROOMS.
3. Redecoration throughout - you have wallpapered and painted and not returned the property to how it was when you moved in. When you moved in 2 years ago the property had been freshly decorated in magnolia throughout. WE ARE NOT CHARGING FOR THIS.
4. With regard to the electric sockets, you took it upon yourself to put extra electric sockets and aerials into the property without permission from the property owner. The safety of the next tenant in the property is the landlord's responsibility, we therefore have to have a fixed wiring test carried out at your expense to make sure the electrics are safe. YOU ARE BEING CHARGED FOR THE TEST.
5. The oven has to be cleaned - you didn't clean it. WE ARE NOT CHARGING FOR THIS.
6. New batteries in the smoke alarms - you had removed them and not replaced them. WE ARE NOT CHARGING FOR THIS.
7. 2 bulbs missing from light fittings. WE ARE NOT CHARGING FOR THIS.
So please don't call us bullies, we have been incredibly fair. You have not kept to your responsibilities when handing the property back. We do want to give tenants their full deposit back and that is why we had a pre check out property inspection with you to advise on what work was your responsibility in order for you to receive your full deposit without any deductions. It is not our fault if you have ignored our advice. We have many outgoing tenants that listen to us and receive their full deposit back. How would you feel if it was your property handed back in a condition where work was required that was the tenant's responsibility?
