** is the most arrogant, rude and disrespectful agent I ever had to deal with. Not only has he been talking down on me for the last two years, he has harassed me, discriminated against me and played me against my flat mate ( joint contract. He appeared professional till we signed the tenancy agreement. Right after he did not hold his word to remove mold in the bathroom. We found the toilet door painted shut. Requesting a repair let to a series of NO s till, month later I wrote that quite frankly I don't wish to know which digestive issues my flatmate has, nor do I wish to leave the door open to lead the winds into the rest of the flat. finally they broke the window open, but do not expect a repair of the such or a paint job! If you complain or send reminders of disrepairs, you will be branded as demanding. If you leave the please please please and articulate clear expectation with a confirmation of a date for repair you are branded arrogant and abusive. From the 1st complaint about draughty windows with broken sashes and a draughty apartment door with a loose lock, it took just 1.5 years for a date of repair. that of course was scheduled for the midst of December (a five day job) Another problem. Only half of the draughts were done. At the moment I am holding a written statement from ** refusing to enter the flat when I am in it. Insisting on an arrangement between him and my male flatmate, any inspection and discussion about repair would exclude me. Guys, Dont bother reminding him of the equality act of 2010 and that his behaviour is classed as discrimination a deal between men is a deal, isn't it?! One time I chased him again and he talked down on me, I reminded him of a particular paragraph in the law. He labelled me as arrogant and rude. But hey, don't be surprised! he gave it to me in written:" I do things my way!" Boy, am I glad that I keep records. at his has become a full time job though. One most occasions of verbal abuse he makes sure that there are no witnesses. This shows you that his 30 years of experience as estate manager really pay off. Some examples : 1. Do you mind me taken off my mask? Yes, I do! I don't believe in masks (off it goes). 2. Let me know when you have found a new flatmate, just no pets and no kids! 3. there must have been a reason why your previous live in land lord hit you (I have lived with a dislocated jaw for 2 years, Ibam on a surgery waiting list and I am in regular pain). 4. you are sick, you are sick, you need serious help. and many more... If Obedeance **'s ways or how he interpreted his rights, us not your strength- do not rent from Ellis and Co. ** will make sure he harassed you in every written conversation. I recently disclosed a history of depression and anxiety when he yelled that I am sick. ai did so to point out how inappropriate his behaviour was. Instead he used this as the perfect justification for his complaints about me and dared to write that "this explains a lot" He clearly has some SadoMaso thing going on demanding I need to apologise for my reaction to his ongoing discrimination and abuse. ai recently called him an arsehole. Something I have never done , ever! ** helped me to finally get my self into buying a doggy cam - not that I have a dog. But I feel safer having a recording of his behaviour and to disprove his accusations. And it works :) he admitted the yelling that I am sick after I responded " I am glad, I recorded this" Friends, Being managed by ** is extremely draining! My mental health is suffering under his misogynist demeanor. But there couldn't be a better in personalisation of the UK landlord as described in Eueopean Media than **. This and the above of course are my recollections and opinions, despite having evidence, Ellis and co might have different recollections (memories are tricky little things) and opinions Feel free to make your own experiences (though I would not advise)
Worst Service from Peter. I’ve never experienced such horrible communication from an agent. It started when I wanted to view a property that was advertised by Ellis and co. He explained to me that he couldn’t access the property which I understood but asked if he could book me in for a viewing . I didn’t hear back for about a week and a half. I then got frustrated and called another branch where I was assured that I would be given a call back. When Peter intally called I received a very hostile voicemail but proceeded to book a viewing. When I wanted to put an offer in his college advised that I need to speak to peter as he was unaware about the process. Monday morning I called in keen to put an offer in, I will admit it was below the asking price. I then proceeded to chase Peter about my offer. He said he is dealing with the property and has no answer for me yet as he has not spoken about my offer to the landlord, and I should stop calling for updates. After a week of waiting I finally emailed him Where his response was that there was multiple offers and the landlord decided to go with another one. Not once did he call me for an increase or update me on the status. He also did not make me aware of exactly how many offers there were until I emailed. Lack of communication and a lot of unprofessional behaviour, I would avoid this agent completely.

- Poor service - Unprofessional behavior It’s been about 1 year since I entered the property and they did not fix the radiator in the toilet and they ignored us completely and this is absolutely unprofessional ,and when it comes to my room there was no heating at all the full winter season and this winter was one of the hardest and coldest winters in UK , I spoke to them and they treated me unprofessionally , I’m really disappointed that how come a big and well known company behaving like this with its customers and I had found out that they are franchise therefore DON’T TRUST THIS COMPANY GUYS

This is the worst agency ever , we moved here back in September and didn’t realise how bad the conditions are. The flooring is terrible and we can here every footsteps which are extremely loud from upstairs and it wakes us up every night. The condition are terrible and there was asbestos in the Heating. We complained many times to the agency but they hardly responded or were helpful. I guess because they got their money. Would not recommend them ever.
We have been complaining about loud noises that have been coming from upstairs due to the bad flooring for 2 months now and the living conditions have been hell.The agency clearly doesn't care about our complaints. Our emails are constantly ignored! I mean how professional is that ?... athe guy Peter only replies when it is has to do with rent stuff. His defense is that no one ever complaint before so we shouldn't complaining. Never encountered such arrogance. I don't like naming people but he literally has been totally not bothered about about the situation. Never thought in my life I'd be considering getting sleeping pills from the GP ! Even worse the heating was broken and the electrician was coming to fix it ,we clearly mesioned to him that we were gonna be at home..The electrician opened the door with the keys whilst we were in ! That's just disgusting this agency Is full of bad practices and terrible services atleast from what I can see this guy is not representing the company at all. If things persists we're just gonna get a lawyer to deal with it all. I wouldn't bother renting with them especially around nw area. Get yourself professional agencies.
Liars! After a few years I'm still waiting for my £150 that I was robbed off by Mr Peter after moving out of a rented flat in Dollis Hill. I own a property now, but I would never rent or buy anything through Ellis after the previous experiences.
Never experienced more rude estate agent manager than Mr Peter. I was a tenant for 5 years on Deacon Road and all was fine until I said I was moving out. Lots of troubles. I own a house now, but I strongly advise any tenants to avoid this dodgy agent. It all looks good on the pictures of only!
I am absolutely disgusted with the service myself and my fellow housemates have received from this letting agent. When we moved in, there was mould all over the bathroom ceiling, the house wasn't fully secure and a lot of the windows were painted shut along with there being no extractor fans in the kitchen or bathroom. We then discovered that our landlord wasn't actually a licensed landlord so it was actually illegal for him to have anyone living there, surely this is something the letting agents should look into before acting for a person wanting to let out a property? When we went to Peter about this, he was incredibly rude about it and claimed there was nothing to be fixed then went back on his word and got most of the work done. Also my housemate wrote to him about mould growing on her windows, he told her it was her fault and she should clean it herself even though it's clearly because there is no ventilation in the property so condensation happens, no matter what we try. He also said that since we didn't pay council tax as we're all students, we should be able to afford to turn the heating on, which we do but nonetheless, has he ever been a student in London living off practically nothing? Clearly not. I also visited the office on one occasion to see Peter, he was on the phone at the time shouting about something or other and he then proceeded to speak very loudly about his divorce. As you can imagine, this is not what I wanted to hear when entering what was meant to be a professional environment. When I decided I wanted to move out from the property, I then was told I would have to pay even more agent fees and when I said that I wouldn't be doing that because of all of the hassle we had had when we moved in, I was personally and publicly insulted by Margaret and made to feel that my request to move out early was some massive inconvenience to the office and that I should have just sucked it up and stayed, no matter what. I am absolutely appalled with this branch of Ellis & Co. they have caused nothing but trouble since the word go and they are absolute rogue letting agents that should not be trusted. I don't know if it's because we're a student house that they think they can mess us around, I really don't understand what it is that makes them absolutely disgusting people to deal with. In any case, STAY AWAY from this letting agent, they are nasty, nasty pieces of work!
