These guys are simply the best. My house was listed with another agent for nearly 3 months and we only had a handful of viewings and no realistic offers. We reached the point were the only possible move would be to reduce the asking price of the property, so I decided to see what a different agent thought and so gave Ashton's a call as they were recommended. They came out to value the property and said they thought the asking price was realistic and that they thought the images on the current listing were not helping sell the property as the best features of the house were not at the forefront of the listing. Due to their honesty and transparency, I decided to give Ashtons a try and this was the best decision we made. We signed up on a Friday, the pictures were taken a few days later. By the time we received the images, which made our house look amazing, the team had already lined up 4 viewings for Friday evening. This was great considering it hadn't even being listed on their website and Rightmove at this point. These viewings came from the internal team doing a great job of maintaining their client database and pro-actively reaching out to clients who's requirements matched particular features of our property. As the 3rd viewing was taking place on the Friday evening we got a call from Ashtons to say that the 1st person who viewed it had put in an over asking price offer. We therefore went from potentially reducing the price of the house with the original agent, to achieving more than we asked for. 2 of the other viewers requested 2nd viewings which we had to decline due to accepting the offer on the table. Based on the level of interest from the 1st set of viewings, I feel that the quality of buyers they sent to view the property were well vetted and genuinely interested in our property and it's features. The internal team do a really good job at maintaining their database and matching buyers to properties. I mainly dealt with Andrea but all of the staff were really easy to talk to and professional and kept us updated throughout the process. They were fully involved for both parties, helping us negotiate on some fixtures, fittings and furniture etc, until the sale was completed. I would highly recommend Ashtons to anyone looking to sell their home.
