We recently sold a house with Cooke Curtis & Co., and were very impressed with the friendly, polite and professional team especially Steve, Sophie and Remi. The marketing for our property was high-quality, and our sale was handled efficiently by the team.

We have recently sold and purchased using Cooke Curtis & Co. They were a little different to previous experiences with other estate agents; they were more honest and less pushy. We had lots of viewings and sold within 6 weeks, despite the market being particularly stagnant at the time. Our purchase turned out to be a fairly complex one and they were extremely supportive and helpful in keeping the process flowing and the rest of the chain calm and happy whilst the issues got resolved.

Seemed fine but limited availability for viewings, I think they focus on lettings rather than sales

I did not get good experiences with them as a seller. No proactive selling and no active follow up after viewing. I am disappointed. And I am switching to others in Cambridge. --- Update to reflect the progress so far I have not yet had a way to contact the business owner Jamie Curtis yet. The agency was ok throughout the tenancy, however he had a lot of issues when we moved out.

An estate agent like any other. Forget all those "award winning" adornments, all estate agents are pretty much the same. Their aim/s are: 1. Make profit for themselves. How they achieve this: 1. By any means legitimately available to them. Use them by all means, but don't expect them to be in anyway different from any other estate agent. Words they use in their "Our Offering" blurb, like integrity; dictionary definition: "the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles" are next to meaningless if not an anathema to the modus operandi of estate agents. We all know this. If I could find one thing to recommend Cooke, Curtis and Co over any other estate agents it's perhaps that they have a developed sense of irony over other estate agents. Across their office wall they have this line stencilled in large black lettering: "Trust Us We're Estate Agents". A regular bunch of Oscar Wildes, but this, alas, will not keep you warm at night.

The staff needs to get some customer service training. Answering to the customer to a specific question with: " you'll know when I know" is not very satisfying Hannah....
