The sale process was not without its difficulties and Steve was always quick to respond to our phone calls, liaise as necessary, and provide that support and reassurance he realised early on we needed. We recently sold our house in Cambridge with Cooke Curtis and they were absolutely fantastic - I can't recommend them enough. Steve was absolutely brilliant. Unlike any of the other agencies we looked into using, Steve handled all the viewings himself. This meant he met all the prospective buyers and was (a) able to tell them things about the house that were actually informative and useful (unlike most estate agents who have shown us round houses) and (b) able to give us some feedback about them and their situations. It also makes the whole process much more efficient and pleasant to just deal with one person. He also did a brilliant video tour, which I think is a great thing even not in a time of covid, because it means the people who actually look round are genuinely interested in buying the house. And the photos were excellent. After the sale was agreed, the agents were helpful whenever we phoned, and very efficient (thank you to Sarah in the office) in helping to 'progress the sale'. Overall, we were really impressed and would definitely recommend Cooke Curtis to anyone trying to sell their house in Cambridge. They weren't the absolute cheapest (although not at all the most expensive either), but it was so very much worth the relatively small difference in price.

Having sold a few houses in the past I have never felt the urge to provide a review to the selling agent, however, I must say Cooke Curtis & Co were fantastic. We had a rather difficult co-ownership arrangement which needed delicate handling from the agent and was done brilliantly. The valuation was done very well and it's logic was explained to us. Once we went with them, the whole time we were kept informed and whenever we messaged them - they got back to us really quickly. Ultimately, they did what they said they could do - and they found us buyers and managed the sale to our satisfaction. With other agents in the past I have wondered what value they add apart from marketing the property, but with CC I could see the extra value they added and I think their fee was well earned TBH. If ever I am looking to buy or sell again I will give these guys a call.

I chose Cooke & Curtis as a reputable Estate Agency based in Cambridge. I was not disappointed, for after two other property valuations, Cooke & Curtis were almost £50k above the others, in a so called difficult market. Cooke and Curtis sold my property within several hours of on-line listing at a price within a few £K of the asking price. Their local Associate Partner certainly knew her market, and apart from being pleasent and thoughtful, was very aware and supportive of our rural facilities, which helped sell the propert so swiftly. We put our house on the market with an estate agent which at first we had no choice in who we chose. Due to COVID all viewings stopped. When we were able to start viewings again we had 2 viewings after nearly 7 months. We thought it was due to the pandemic, we then changed estate agent to Cook Curtis and Co after seeing good reviews. In the first week we had more viewings than we had in the whole 7 months being with the other estate agent. With in 3-4 weeks (if that) we had 2 offers on our house. The team have been amazing to us and nothing but helpful, they might say it’s their job but to me they really have been a our life saver. A few names to mention are Dominic, Anna, Ellie and especially Sophie who has been so helpful and helped me out so much through such a stressful time, you have been amazing and I couldn’t recommend this company enough! Nothing was ever to much for them and whatever we asked they were there to help.
