I contacted Northwood a few months back about them becoming agents for our rental property. First initial contact was good with a phone call and email quote and then nothing .......... no response from my email asking questions.
The worst experience
I recently had a horrible experience renting through this rental agency. Despite promptly filling out all the necessary paperwork, they ignored our form. Their communication was absurdly poor. The agents looked us straight in the eye and lied to us. It was very frustrating to deal with such an unprofessional company providing terrible service. Other agency I have spoken to have been an order of magnitude better - responsive, efficient and honest. providing terrible service.
Arranged to view a rental property on Lower Kenyon street with agents in the Thorne branch. I attended with my two young children (1 and 3yrs). We waited outside the property for 30+ minutes in the cold and wind. I rang several times and was transferred to agents in the Goole and Hatfield office - all explained that they'd chase the agent. Cheryl arrived about 40 minutes after finally receiving this message. First, she gave the usual, 'I was there the whole time… I waited', (although I was 5 minutes early and was stood outside the property grappling with two toddlers the entire time), then eventually admitted that she was photographing another property further up the street and that, 'it wasn't my fault… I've had a busy day with viewings'… Unfortunately, this wasn't a one off experience. I recognised Cheryl from when she left me and my son waiting (15 minutes) outside a property for sale a few months previously - there was no explanation or apology - she just looked at me blankly. After this second experience, I was gaslit by Cheryl and her colleagues and made to feel that I was being unreasonable to expect basic service and communication. I was phoned this morning to get my feedback on the properties I viewed yesterday - I calmly explained that I loved the one on Kenyon Street but couldn't trust the company to handle my application given these experiences experience. Again… I was told that Cheryl was at the property… blah blah. I informed the female agent that I'd leave a poor review and Cheryl rang back 2 minutes later to try and persuade me not to. I feel for the local landlords and sellers. Choose to spend your money elsewhere!

If I could give zero stars I would. Basically take your money and they don't want to know. Awful customer service. Don't bother, go elsewhere
