Deciding upon Smiths was clearly the right move for us. We'd had been seriously underwhelmed by our previous agents, and both Tom and Janine raised the game to a different level with Smiths. Tom, took the time and patience to get to know the house and the location, this was impressive. That level of detail is is needed for any property to be properly packaged to a viewer as to the real benefits of potentially living there. The onboarding process was simple and straight forward and each time a viewer requested a viewing we were kept informed as to time and dates and then feedback was provided within a few hours of the visit. When viewings dropped off after the initial few weeks with no offers an adult conversation was had about our price expectations and we agreed to drop to a new price level that Tom felt would get the viewers in again. He was right. Three weeks later and we were receiving multiple offers. That's when Janine's skillset kicked in. Dubbed my "Hero Angel" ; this lady chased this process through for the seemingly endless months it took to get it across the line with many issues, delays and much frustration. Honestly had Janine not been pushing along the whole line of 6 buyers in the chain I think we would still be there now. Ultimately its the Solicitors that control the final flow and I learned a lot from this process myself ,but without her constant chase and update nothing would have moved.
