We had an excellent experience with Abbey Properties and having the office in the heart of the village was very helpful. Mervyn's knowledge of the local market was evident from our first meeting. He and Amy were very responsive and good at keeping all three of us in touch with what was going on. In spite of the property market being unpredictable they made the whole process as straightforward as possible.

It surely must be a challenge dealing with the wayardness of the house viewing public nonetheless all the team at Abbey Properties ~ Mervyn and Amy ~ did not fail us. The house buying process is not quick and there are many frustrations all round along the way, so they are to be congratulated on their continued optimism and extremely halpful support from day 1 to day 181. Update: My experience with Manning Stainton started really positively as a tennant with a very good process leading up to starting my tennancy. During my stay, Alex has been really good at taking care of my needs during the tennancy relating to maintence amd queries.

Unfortunately my husband who was a landlord passed away recently. I had to register with Rent Smart Wales, whose bereavement services are borderline vindictive and repeatedly reduced me to tears. Fortunately Dawson's were so good and helped me every step of the way. Well done Caitlin, Jade and Naomi. I could not have done it without you.

Estate agents can get a bad wrap, but Mervyn and his colleagues don't live up to the stereotype - they're personable and professional. We felt we got good advice from an agent with excellent local knowledge, who were able to advocate for us where necessary and treat all parties fairly. In order to get the property we wanted, we had to pause our sale for a while, but this caused no issues and meant we were able to achieve our dreams. We're happy where we are but if we move again, we'll definitely sell with Abbey again.
