We had a very disappointing experience with Chestertons while securing a rental property. At the beginning, the process seemed smooth. However, as the move-in date approached, communication became extremely poor. We had to make multiple calls just to reach the manager the day before our scheduled move. Only later that evening were we informed that the property would not be ready for move-in the next day. This caused significant inconvenience, including rescheduling movers and packers, rearranging plans, and taking additional leave from work. We were then advised of a new move-in date two days later, which we accommodated. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the property was still not ready, and the move had to be delayed once again by another day. Throughout the process, various excuses were given, including staffing shortages and issues involving the landlord. We did not want to get involved in determining whose fault it was, but these repeated explanations only further reflected the lack of professionalism and poor management. Overall, it was very stressful and disappointing experience.
